Dryer stopped heating. I looked around and this seemed like the most professional as they service Samsung, LG and GE appliances for warranty work. Glad I went with them. The guy is a 100% professional. Responsive on the phone, shows up when he says and is honest. Absolutely hands down the best appliance repair experience I have had and I have been a homeowner for 25 years.

The end result of the job is that it is okay. I wasn't thrilled with the final look of the concrete. The colour was dark than expected. He did come by to address my colour concerns and offered to do what he could to change it but he could only darken it. I should take some responsibility for the colour. I could have shown some pictures of the final look I wanted and ensured he spent more time with me working out exactly what the colour should look like. He came to measure and the initial quote that came through was for a smaller (less wide) walkway than what we had discussed. (20 inches) vs 36 inches. I noticed it and when they came to do the job I asked about it and he had to requote and it was significantly higher. It may have been an honest mistake or a bait and switch. He seems pretty honest so probably just a mistake or miscommunication. If I had the correct quote from the start I may have used another provider. As it was he turned out to be pretty close to a couple of other quotes I got. The project was supposed to start by end of June. I think they forgot about our job because I called him mid to end of July to ask when they were coming then things started getting rolling. For the most part they came when they said they would only time they didn't was when eater was an issue so not their fault. I wasn't pleased with the clean up afterwards. There is a bunch of gravel left along the side of one of the walkways. They said that it should remain there for drainage. I call BS on that because there isn;t any gravel along the other walkway. Had they at least cleaned up the site properly. I would have left a better result. But the combination of an iffy colour, late project start and poor site clean up resulted in a lower grade and an unlikelyhood to use them in the future or recommend them to others. All in all it was okay but could have been better.

I needed to replace the shower in the bathroom. It was a neo-angle shower. I had bought the shower from Home Depot but the installation was a bit more than I had bargained for. Rowan was recommended to me by some friends. He came promptly to review the work required and then provided a written quote that he stuck to. He took his time doing the work and even did more than I expected him to do. He was on time, professional and courteous,. He's a younger guy so he is really aiming to please and to build his clientele. He delivered more than I expected, the quality was excellent and all was on time. I will not hesitate to use him again.

Rob did a number of roofs on Merlene Court in Cambridge, including ours. His pricing was very reasonable. He was courteous and professional. His crew was the same. Everything was done as stipulated. Good material, good results. All on time and on budget. Been a year and a half and have had no issues with the roof. Great job. Have recommended him to friends with same results.

We were moving my wife's grand parents out of their house to my mother in-laws home and needed some help at the last minute. I found rent-a-son on HomeStars, saw the great reviews so decided to take the plunge. I am so glad we did. The two "sons" they provided were awesome. They dove right into the task at hand, needed very little supervision or direction, they were clean cut, polite, hard working.
