I had an asphalt driveway that had some concrete underneath.. and none of the paving companies had the equipment to take it out for me. Wellington was recommended to me by Halton Hills Paving. There was quite a delay in the job getting done since the owner/operator had some family health issues. However, once he scheduled the job with a firm date he came and quickly got it done. In the end I am pleased with the work done at a reasonable cost.

I had Halton Window and Door co. quote on replacing all of the windows in my home last year. Ultimately due to budget we went only with the basement ones. Their price was in line with the competition and the work done was good quality. We did have to wait a while to get the installation done, booked in August and installation wasn't till winter! It was worth the wait, we are very happy with our new basement windows.

This is the second spring in a a row that we've had Dr. Bug out to deal with the carpenter ants coming into our home. Last year we had a major infestation in our attic and bedroom wall. Aaron came out and fogged the attic as well as drilled holes in the walls to insert the spray. They also sent someone out a few days later when the weather dried out to spray the exterior of the house and the wood in the yard. we didn't see another ant that entire year. This year as soon as I saw the carpenters outside walking up theside of the house I had Dr. Bug back out to fog the attic again and spray outside. Even though they were booked solid they made time for us as we had a tight schedule due to other outside work. Dr. Bug is fast, courteous, and very helpful with tips as to how to prevent/manage future issues. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone with a insect problem.

I had halton hills electrical contracting come in to my home a couple of years ago for some minor electrical work - adding a couple of outlets and installing a bathroom fan. Shortly after they left we noticed that one of the outlets was not wired quite right and my husband was able to reconnect one of the wires to fix the minor problem (should've had them back to do that). The bathroom fan started leaking water about a year after they put it in. My husband went up in the attic and saw that the platic piping that they had used to go to one of our existing vents was laying down on the floor and full of water (condensation). We ended up getting roofers to come in and install a proper vent hole above the bathroom for the piping. As new homeowners we had no idea that what the electricians were doing with the vent was not correct. I would've much preferred them to tell me they coudln't do it or that we needed a new vent rather than deal with water damage down the road.

I had Findlay come out to give me an estimate on replacing my roof after a particularly windy winter when a few shingles flew off. Three other roofers gave estimates on the complete job and then Findlay came along and informed me that I didn't need a complete replacement, only a repair, since my roof still had about 5 years left on it. They were the only company to suggest this. I really appreciate their honesty and the fact that they put the needs of the homeowner first. When it comes time to replace my roof I'll definitely be calling Findlay.
