This furniture store is worth the visit. They have solid good furniture at reasonable prices. Though not high high end, it is still quality furniture. Many of their suppliers are from Canada. To get a really good deal - is when they are clearing out their floor models to make room for new year stuff. Managed to snag a beautiful bed set for an excellent deal. Solid birch wood and made in Canada. Joe, the manager is very helpful, and nice.

Transitions new lifestyle furniture is a great place to get home decor adivice and furniture of course. Their salespeople are knowledgeable and very helpful. They are expensive though but if you catch them when they are having a sale, the prices are more reasonable. The furntiure suppliers that they deal with are all quality so you know you will be getting solid, well made furniture that will last.

We got Donald Lyons to put in 13 fence posts for us and then we were going to put up the fencing. He did an ok job. The next year, the fence posts were tilting and we got him to come back to fix. He came back right away and was able to make the posts straight again. Was surprised that he honoured his work.

Hamco is very professional and efficient. I think they charge more than others, but I know that I will get a good job done with honesty and integrity. Even in their quote, they will look at the best way to do the job before they tackle the project. They did this and saved me alot more than I was anticipating.

Nice people but work does not hold up over time. Within a year, significant cracks, but they do honour their work. Willing to come back and fix the areas affected. Requires constant hounding though.

I had Rob Hackett, design a cabinet add on for our bathroom for linens and such and it was lovely. The installers did a good job but they are not very careful with surrounding walls, as there were a few dings in the wall when they moved their equipment. I like Rob's design work and he takes the time to put something together that you want and like. It'd be hit and miss with the installers.

This is a good place for window coverings. They have good prices but not exceptionally inexpensive. If you catch a sale, it's a good buy. The installers were very efficient and they did a good job. I would recommend them to anyone thinking of doing shutters in their home. Shutters as a product for the home is great. Very easy to maintain and clean.

John from Pro Pavement is a good company to do your driveway. They are guick and honest and do good work. They aren't the cheapest but they aren't the most expensive. If you have any problems they will come back and help fix the problem

I asked Bruce to make recommendations on our subfloor as it was squeaking really bad. He took the time to explain everything and also how to go about fixing the squeaky floor. He is a trustworthy man and his work is excellent.

Our experience with Landmart as a builder was not at all what we hoped for. They have great house designs but the material and workmanship is not quality. If they can skimp to save, they will. Also, as a company there is not alot of integrity. We have a nice house design but many of the finishes from paint, and flooring we have do all over ourselves.
