We hired Kathy Quinn of Quin-teriors to help us improve the aesthetics of our main level - living/dining areas, primarily. We use our main floor in an unconventional way, zoning it into a seating area, a little TV den, and a household office. Kathy helped us differentiate the areas and provided abundant advice on little things that could make a big difference, including layout and furniture options. She was amazing on choosing new paint colours, going through swatch after swatch to find just the right choices for several rooms - and we love the choices. She also made the selection and installation of window treatments go easily and quickly. Kathy is a storehouse of information on all those pesky details, such as how to hang the drapes, where to place the art, how to choose lighting, and so on. She was flexible and sought to understand our goals. We are happy with the outcome, which completely reflects our goals and taste. Only advice would be to make your list of needs and priorities known and stick with it, a must in any creative collaboration.

Mike Otani of Five Star gave a reasonable estimate on time, took an interest in what was a small job, and sent us a young, polite painter who asked about the details and was careful. They quickly responded when I called about a few minor touch-ups that were not visible while the paint was wet, and took care of those quickly. I would hire them again.

The Canlik Kitchens staff was professional and responsive from first contact through final details. They spent a great deal of time preparing and planning the job, ensuring that all details were well thought out. Throughout, they worked with us to find solutions to the inevitable design and construction challenges of any reno. They walked us through the process, kept their commitments and left us with a much improved kitchen. Happy to recommend.
