Our fireplace required a safer and more efficient gas insert. After much research, we selected Delco Fireplaces as our vendor. Working with Geoff Walton, he guided us to finalizing a selection. He came out on a holiday to take measurements. The insert arrived and was installed according to schedule. His installers were very efficient and respectful of our home regarding cleanliness. Geoff also reviewed the project after installation. We have another fireplace to redo and Delco will be our vendor.

Our fireplace required a safer and more efficient gas insert. According to safety regulations, there could be no gap between the outer surface of the wall and the old brick wall. We had extraordinarily difficult time finding a contractor to take on this project and even our vendor for the gas insert stated that he had difficulty in finding such a contractor. After numerous calls, Rick Sleva from Action Drywall was recommended. I phoned him on a Monday; he came on Tuesday; and the work was started on Wednesday; and completed by Saturday. All in the same week. He also provided his mudder the following week to perform some final work at no extra charge. The work was well done and his price was fair and reasonable. We will certainly call him for future drywall and mudding jobs.

Our fireplace need an update gas insert which required us to renovate the mantel. Budget was a paramount concern as was a quick completion before Christmas. We contacted Tenmore for a estimate. After reviewing the project, Craig advised that he wasn't in a position to meet our objectives but he recommended his associate Trevor to complete the finishing and detail work. Trevor performed an excellent job and came up with creative solutions to unexpected glitches. He also showed up according to schedule. His fee was more than fair. Tenmore will be our first right of refusal contractor for future projects. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
