Upon my initial meeting with Chad, I found him very personable & professional & decided to hire his company out of the three I had met with. However throughout the process of of building my fence, I found he made a few questionable decisions without consulting with me, the paying homeowner, first. He also did not write down discussed details, always tapping his head saying "it's all in here." When I approached Chad about my dissatisfaction with a few of his decisions, he became defensive & unprofessional with the immature response of quitting the project & threatening to report a fence bylaw infringement (yes, the fence he built!!) if I didn't pay immediately for the work thad had already been completed. Chad's childish reactions was disappointing & based on this & other poor self-directed decisions he made, I would definitely not recommend South Point Bobcat for any landscaping projects.

Please do not hire this man!! Owner CJ is disrespectful as was shown when he left the removed dirt from the newly dug fence post holes on my neighbour's yard & poured extra wet cement on my yard as the SynLawn installer "has to dig this up anyways." He has no attention to detail, or is too arrogant to care, as was shown when warped &/or rotting wood was used for my fence & he did not maintain horizontal straight lines with the fence frame & support beams. CJ also lacks common sense as when he installed the gates, he positioned the hinges so after entering through the gate, one walks into the side of the house rather than into the open yard. His arrogance was well exhibited after my voiced above concerns to him were ignored.

Jared was amazing! Very personable & accommodating, asked if I had any preferences regarding the gas line location & took the time to explain the completed project. Was also sure to obtain a permit to verify the safety of his work. I found his prices much more reasonable than other quotes I received & he was willing to charge me the estimated amount despite working an extra couple hours on the project (I paid him for all the time he worked but very admirable that he was willing to honour his initial quote.)

Do NOT hire this company!! They have no respect for customers' property or belongings & take no responsibility for damage they cause - it's even in their contract!! I have large scratches to my new home's hardwood floors & holes in walls. They create bogus charges, do not respond to multiple e-mails requesting explanations of these charges & my final invoice was almost triple what what estimated. They require the total amount to be paid in full prior to the delivery of your belongings so there's no opportunity to withhold funds in case of errors on their part. They only accept cash or cheque which is one of the main warning signs on the BBB website to indicate questionable companies (I wish I had visited the BBB website first.) The movers 'misplaced' my dining room table's wooden legs in their truck (???) which were apparently shipped to me via Greyhound but never delivered. Galaxy refused to complete a lost shipment claim with Greyhound which indicates to me they may not have sent my misplaced property in the first place. They also have no record of client information after they have received payment. They asked for my address to ship the table legs, 2 days after they had delivered my belongings. I'm out almost $2500 for the move & $800 for a new table
