ADT did a great job of the consultation and free estimate on my home. Their installer was excellent and quick, and he did a great job of explaining the system. We had this system installed in an older home that had been renovated, and ADT was reasonably priced compared to the other quotes we received.
I had the guys from Sky High Tree Service remove 5 very large spruce trees from my backyard. Sky High was extremely punctual, safe, and fast. They were very helpful and I would recommend them to anyone.
I GOT RIPPED OFF. I contacted Clearview to come quote a repair of a leaking toilet and dripping shower. They sent a technician out to inspect the job who couldn't understand the problem and didn't seem to know how to fix the shower. I was then quoted $540 to put a new wax seal in the toilet (which turned out to be a $100 fix by another plumber), and an additional $840 to "rebuild my shower head". When I told him that I had tried 2 different shower heads and had the same result, he insisted that "rebuilding" it was the solution......it is a $30 shower head, and it wasn't broken. Then before leaving my house he insisted that he had to charge me the $72.00 call-out fee before he could leave. When I called Clearview to ask for a refund on the $72.00 callout fee because the technician they sent couldn't give me a proper quote, couldn't identify the issue with the shower, tried to talk me into an $840 charge to "rebuild my shower head", and gave me an overall quote that was 1000% than it should be.....they told me that they don't do free quotes and that their prices can be "slightly higher" than other plumbers.

I am happy that you took the time to let us know of your concern and issues. Please allow me to address these, as I know previously our manager has spoken with you. With our pricing, we are priced to continue to stay in business as we have for many years. We are not the cheapest, and we are not the most expensive. We have extremely knowledgeable technicians who are willing to go above and beyond to make sure your issue is totally fixed, and not just a quick fix or band aid that will need fixing again at a later date. We pride ourselves on being able to give you solutions to your problems that will be a total fix. As for the 72.00, I do believe you were explained what this was for in the initial call, and also received instructions on how this process works. I'm sorry if you are not satisfied, but we have made an attempt to send you a refund agreement, one to which we have still not received.
