AVOID AT ALL (GREAT) COSTS. They did my flat roof in 2005. They actually came very well recommended. What do I know? They claimed specialization in flat roofs, and offered a 10-year warranty. Now, it comes time to sell my house and the home inspector gets up on the roof and tells me it's time to replace my 35-year old roof. When I tell him it was done in 2006, he was gobsmacked; he said he had never seen such a poor done. Net, I don't have time to deal with the "warranty", and don't have confidence they'll fix it anyway. I now have to spend $$$ to get it redone – in time to sell the home. I should have just roofed the house with the new polymer $20 bills; it probably would have been a better job than Asselin did.

We were very pleased by the renovation job that Bowerbird did for our basement. Andrei, Victor, and Vlad were highly professional, they worked hard, and they were a pleasure (and fun) to have around. They aren't the cheapest – if you want Walmart quality, go elsewhere – but we felt we got excellent value. Their quality and workmanship is superb, and they came in exactly on budget and on time. For the few changes that we wanted, they charged very reasonably. And as unforeseen circumstances arose – they always do in old homes like ours – they had innovative, proactive solutions.
