The front entrance of our home was a plain concrete slab. The step down was starting to spall and the result was unattractive. We wanted to update, but we were not sure with what. A couple of neighbourhood acquaintances had had their porch areas redone in flagstone and we went to take a look. The results were top-notch and the homeowners were completely satisfied. The work had been done by Danny and his team, and were highly recommended. In fact, Danny had been very busy in the neighbourhood, working on several projects. Upon meeting with Danny, we were confident that we need not look any further. The porch was completed last week and it is exactly what we wanted. Danny and his team do the job right, working very hard and paying attention to the small details as well as the large. Workers were all very polite and respectful. We are very happy with our bathroom renovation completed by Monarch Kitchen and Bath Centre. Our project was completed on budget and on time. The couple of minor issues that arose were quickly resolved. Everyone we dealt with at Monarch was friendly and responded promptly to questions/issues during the project. The project schedule was provided in advance and they were very good at confirming times when technicians were expected to arrive.

We wanted to replace our backyard brick patios for a while. They were too small, and moss and weeds were always a problem. We investigated patterned concrete as an option, as we liked its look and hoped that it would be lower maintenance. Last May we contracted with Giancarlo of Patterned Concrete Ontario Inc to do the work. He sketched a design after our consultation and then directed the entire project. It was a major job, with complications getting old material out and new material in, as the entrance to our backyard is very narrow. Giancarlo figured out a way, without having to take down fences and I was very pleased. The workers were very professional and friendly and took time to tell me exactly what they were doing. In the end, I was very happy with the look of the patio. Much landscaping was done by myself at the end of the project, to repair the grass, etc. But this spring, everything looks great and we can enjoy our new beautiful backyard. To protect our investment, I am taking Giancarlo's advice and having the patio washed and resealed. I expect that with proper maintenance, we will have this beautiful patio to enjoy for as long as we own this house. I think that it will eventually add to the resale value of our home as well. I have had Dr. Green take care of my fertilizing, weed, and pest control needs for four years now. The technicians are courteous and respectful. They will answer my questions. If I need further services or clarification, I can call Dr. Green and speak to knowledgeable people. I have had technicians make extra trips to my property and even redo applications on the rare occasions that I have been dissatisfied. The automatic renewal is very convenient, and my rates haven't gone up in four years. My previous lawn care company, that I had for over ten years, is continuously trying to get me to switch back, but I think I'll stick with Dr. Green. In fact, I have already pre-paid for my 2013 program.
