I had called Joe to help fix our patio that we had done this past summer by another company. The other company had poor customer service and made some major errors to our patio. I did not want to call them back due to the bad experience we had, so i went searching for another company. All i can is I wish that i had found Joe before. He is very proffesional, and he is genuinely a nice man to work with. He was very understanding and helpful to our situation. There is not enough good things i can say about Joe and the work that he did to make our patio look the way it should have. I can without a doubt use and refer Joe for any interlock/paving job. There are not a lot of honest good companies left, but Joe is one of those companies. If you are looking for a fair priced, good workmanship and all in all nice person to work with, Joe is the guy to call for your interlock and paving needs. Thanks again Joe.

In August, my wife and I decided to get our interlocking done. After interviewing a few companies, we went with Mega since we felt the most comfortable with Harris ( Sales Manager ). Along with us, a few other neighbors also hired Mega to do there interlocking. So we felt even more comfortable. WHAT A MISTAKE WE MADE !! We had a rollercoaster of bad customer service from these guys starting from the initial start date. We signed Aug 7th, they were supposed to come 2 weeks after. The night before they were supposed to come, we get a call from the sales manager saying that most of their machines got taken so they can’t come do our job right away. We understood, and gave them the benefit of the doubt. Long story short, they didn’t come to our house until the first week of Oct. 2 months of excuses from David ( Owner ) Promising he will be there one day and I get home from work to find no one there. I requested my deposit back numerous times because I was tired of waiting, and his answer was , " the bricks are ordered " you don’t get a deposit back. Which was not true, because I even called the paver company they order from and they confirmed that there was no orders. So he finally gets the work started, digging it’s all good. Then they start laying my interlocking, to find that he is using the wrong color for my boarder, My wife mentions the wrong color to him, and he got all frustrated and said that the interlock distributor did not have my agreed boarder color in stock, which was not true either..So I said to him, you don’t think to call your customer, letting them know of the change before laying half of it down.. this is not right.. I’m paying a lot of money for something that I don’t want.. He walks away saying " leave me alone , im working.. THIS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE !! YA RIGHT !! It doesn’t stop there people...I have interlocking on the side of porch as well that they didn’t even use all the appropriate stones to design it like all the other areas. They used all the left over small pieces.. Words cannot express how unhappy my wife and I are at the end result. Every day we walk around outside, and we find something wrong because of the poor workmanship and service. Now, I will probably have to get another company to fix his work after all the money I have already spent.

Company Response

Hello my name is David, the owner of Mega Interlocking and I would like to repond to Mr. Pino’s post. We had finished Mr. Pino’s interlocking project around his house in September not in October. I had not received any phone calls or written letter by Mr. Pino asking to cancel the contract or the return of his deposit. I have on the back of my contract the 2002 Consumer Protection Act which was written and registered by a lawyer so any customer can read before signing my contract. I don’t know why Mr. Pino would claim that we had not ordered his stone for his project. My company did 5 other neighbors project on the same street of Mr. Pino totaling approx $60.000 and they were extremely happy with our work. We just recently signed on contract $48000 more work on Mr. Pino’s street and one street behind. Mr. Pino was trying to make us do his project first before everyone else on his street and the way we do business is to do the customer projects as they sign and he was the last of his neighbors to do. We can assure everyone that reads this post that we use only the finest material. The contract between Mr. Pino and Mega Interlocking states that there is a written warranty for 12 month. After I finished Mr. Pino’s project he inspected the work and paid in full.
If Mr. Pino has any complaints I have not received any calls or emails about this issue and he has my contact information.
