We decided to give our home a much needed face lift. It was already 30 years old; we didn't want to move, as the location was ideal. The main floor was our primary focus for renovation as we spend a lot of time in the kitchen/dining room. The biggest decision is always whom to hire to do the job right. We were going to live in the house (the basement) as the renos were carried out. First I decided to search myself thru ad postings and classifieds. I quickly found this to be a risky way to hire. From the very first meeting, I could see a professional approach to the project. We discussed our family’s needs and sketches were started to place the ideas onto paper. After the major items were covered, drawings and layouts of our cabinetry were generated. We had three free of charge revisions with the cost of planning and this was more than enough as we signed off on the project second revision in. Sub-trades employed by Thad Soyka are very courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. Clean up was done every day, and all observed the working hours between 8:00 and 5:00. We were very happy with the entire process. Rafal was always responsive to calls and emails. We received our 1 year Warranty in writing and are very happy with the outcome of this project.
