I recently purchased a mattress from this company. The salesperson was knowledgeable and showed me different possible choices. I picked a non-spring mattress which was quite cheap. I paid $40 for delivery, although I might have been able to bargain for free delivery. Overall satisfied with the purchase.

It is impossible to browse alone and at peace at the Brick. There is always a salesperson tagging along beside you, even when you say you are just browsing. It would be helpful if they at least had adequate knowledge about the products they are trying to sell but they do not at all. Last year, I purchased a dining room set from them, based on the fact that the salesperson told me that it was solid wood. However, I found out too late that it was actually wood veneer, not solid wood. They are also clueless about kitchen appliances. When asked why one fridge was more expensive compared to another similar-looking fridge of the same brand, a salesperson told me that it was because the more expensive one was more energy efficient. Turns out that actually the cheaper one was more energy efficient...

I purchased a range from Sears Home. On the day of the delivery, the delivery men did not arrive until 1 hour after the end of the promised delivery time period. When they came, they measured my doors and told me that the range was 30" wide and therefore was too big to fit through the door. They said I needed to go back to the store and buy a smaller range. I was confused but agreed and they left. After some time, I realized that even though the width of the range was wider than the door, the depth of the range should be small enough to fit through. I went back to Sears to ask someone about the measurements of the range. All of the salespeople on the floor ignored me and did not answer my questions because they knew I would not be purchasing anything that day. I went to the customer service desk and all they said was "try the delivery again". So I wasted another day waiting for the delivery. This time, some more experienced delivery people came. They did not even bother measuring the doors. They just carried the range in, and it fit through the doors with room to spare. The service at Sears is very questionable and delivery is hit or miss.
