The slabs removed from the walkway were left behind. The cement steps were also left behind when it said on my contract that they were to be taken away. I paid a $100.00 to have a piece of wood replaced on the back deck and it was never done. The owner said he was going to come back later but he never did. He did not answer the phone and when he did he was rude. My stones are moving because no aluminium strips/lock strips were used. All in all a terrible experience.
My deck extension took place during my trip out of the province. I trusted the contractor to leave him with the keys to my home during all the projects he undertook. This was very important to me because of my busy schedule. I'm very pleased with his work and have recommend him to my friends. I would highly recommend him to anyone. My next project is a bathroom addition for which I am using his services.
