We hired Canlik to reface our kitchen cabinets (ie., replace existing doors with new doors and apply veneer to exposed cabinet sides), install new counter top and back splash, and make a new cabinet over the stove that could accommodate a 30-inch exhaust fan. They did a fantastic job. All the people we met were organized, precise and punctual. It only took them 5 days to complete all the work and the kitchen looks great. Would definitely work with these guys again.

I originally approached Home Painters Toronto because of their strong ratings/reviews and the fact that they have a carpenter on board to handle small, related home decor improvements (eg., crown moulding). But I ended up hiring them because all the people I met were enthusiastic, quality conscious and well organized. Everybody did a great job and I didn’t feel like anybody cut corners or made compromises. In the end, Home Painters painted 6 rooms for us, installed crown moulding in the hallway, removed a glass partition, installed a door knob, removed the floating floor in our small basement washroom and installed new floor tile, toilet and sink. Great job. Would definitely use these guys again in the future.

I had an electrician lined up to do some work at my house while my kitchen was being renovated. I needed him to be there on a specific day to wire up a new stove exhaust fan before the counter top and back splash were installed (I also had a number of other things I needed him to do as well). Despite having worked with him before, I just didn't feel comfortable that he was fully committed to the job/timing, so I decided rather last minute to look for a safer alternative on HomeStars. I called up HotWire and was instantly put at ease by the customer service team. They gave me a rough quote on the spot (which I still hadn't received from the other electrician) and they assured me they could be at my house in 2 days. The two electricians who showed up to do the work were fantastic. I will definitely be calling HotWire again in the future. These guys are real pro's.

I was thoroughly impressed with the Nuvo Garage team. I live in a bungalow with a single-car garage. The garage had never been organized before - basically exposed concrete blocks, no shelves or hooks. As a result, garage tools and contents littered the floor or found a home in the basement. Rick was a complete professional throughout the entire garage organization design process. He listened carefully to understand my ingoing objectives and clarified/refined my thinking in order to best meet those objectives with proven approaches he's used successfully before (slatwall/hook system along the walls, 4ft deep elevated platform across the back wall, 2 elevated shelves along the sides). Rick was conscious of both the practical functionality of the design he recommended, as well as the design esthetic it would create. Great job at a reasonable cost.
