I contacted Joe in February, when i discovered that my old skylights were leaking and I was about to put my home up for sale. Joe's response was fast - he was at my house within hours and had a solution for me right away. He replaced the old skylights with new ones that have a 20 year warranty, trimmed and painted the work area so that it looked fantastic. Altogether an amazing example of great customer service. My portable dishwasher had been underperforming for about a year. I'd had another repair person out to look at it, but they were reluctant to take it apart and fix it, claiming it would end up costing more to fix than to just buy a new dishwasher. After months of putting up with it, I call Fix Appliances. Serge was competent, polite, concerned about getting water on my floor, and had an awesome sense of humour. Took the dishwasher apart, fixed the problem, put it back together and cleaned up in under 45 mins. Charged me $200, their standard rate. So much cheaper than the $700 for a new unit. He's my new hero.
