I had heard of Stan's plumbing and heating supply store from a friend and when I was in need of a part for the mechanism inside the toilet I headed there. I brought the complete insides from my tank thinking they would simply sell me a whole new set. I was pleasantly surprised when the sales person took a look, suggested I only needed one new part for the repair and sold me that part. Sure enough, I got home, installed the contraption again and it worked beautifully! The place is a busy one with a number of sales people helping the steady stream of customers. They were all very knowledgeable, friendly AND helpful. What a great place! The down side is the fact that it is tucked away in a tough spot to find.

The contractor that I hired to do our kitchen renovation job used Brampton Kitchens for the cupboards. They were installed on time with no problems. THE PROBLEMS began about five years after they had been in place. The white laminated fronts of the cupboard doors are all coming loose from the doors themselves. I contacted my contractor who in turn contacted Brampton Kitchens. They said the company that made the doors is no longer in business and therefore I am out of luck. SO what happened to the lifetime warranty that I had from Brampton Kitchens?????? It is obviously a manufacturing flaw but Brampton Kitchen will not stand behind the product they sold and installed. Not good business practice. They need to install new doors into my kitchen as part of their warranty.

In the past I have used several different companies to come into my home to clean my furnace. The service person who did the work for us in September seemed to me to know what he was doing. He cleaned up after himself PLUS screwed the cover back onto the furnace when he was done. In the past most have simply set it in place. I liked his diligence.

The initial roofing job was done on time but about a week later we discovered a leak in the valley between the garage and the house. Luckily the water came into the garage, and not the living room! We also had siding siding installed so it was a bit of an issue as to who was responsible for the leak. After a couple of phone calls to both parties and funds withheld the leak was repaired by Shawn.

I was on the hunt for paving stones to match the existing wall along the side garden to extend along the back of the pool. SO I lugged one around in the car for a month or so. And any time I drove past a place that sold them I checked. The guys at Agram not only knew the manufacturer, they also knew the name if this stone AND ordered enough for me to complete the project! My car is lighter now and my project has been completed!

This store is tucked away in a strip mall on the north side of Lakeshore in Mississauge. Not so easy to find but worth the search. The husband and wife owners are super knowledgeable about anything and everything to do with stained glass. If they do not happen to have the produce you need in stock, they will get it for you within a day or two. Great service!

WOW, do these guys ever know what they are doing. I brought in a couple of screens with rips in them to repair. The guy at the counter took me thorough the whole process of how they clean out the old stuff and replace it with new, stronger, better screening.
