A review for Mr Rooter Plumbing

Marc from Mr. Rooter came to our condo twice. On the first visit he advised us that to repair our leaking bath faucet we would have to order the parts from Kohler. He explained if we ordered them ourselves, Kohler would send the parts for free and that would be more economical than having him find the parts for us. We paid $100 for membership so that we could get a better rate on future services. After the parts arrived, we had Marc back and he fixed the bath faucet at no charge. During that same visit he replace our 10 year old rubber washing machine hoses with stainless steel braided ones for $230. He also did a free plumbing inspection and gave us a lot of great advice. We'll definitely call him again for future plumbing projects.

A review for Renaissance Painters

Of all the contractors we worked with during our condo renovation, the ceiling plaster guys were the most skilled and experienced and did the best work. We scraped our own popcorn ceilings off and called Renaissance when we realized we were in over our head with skim coating with plaster to smooth the concrete underneath. They were able to start and finish the job from plastering to painting in in a very short period of time. Our ceilings look absolutely perfect and you can't tell there was ever popcorn before. The plasterers really knew what they were doing and saved us some time by recommending we don't scrape all the way down to the concrete, but only take off the top layer. The painter was also good and primed and painted quickly and neatly. The only thing that wasn't 100% perfect was the cleanup. A lot of fine dust was left after sanding the plaster and I ended up cleaning a second time with an industrial shop vac to make sure the floors and baseboards were completely dust free before the hardwood was installed.

A review for Mclaughlin Flooring Installation Inc.

Rick at McLaughlin Flooring and his team were great. I was lucky to get them on very short notice and they worked very hard to finish installing the floors in my two-bedroom condo in one day. They had to come back the following day to do a few finishing touches (including trimming down one door that wouldn't close over the transition piece). The work was done very neatly (much better than the previously installed floor) and they were professional and courteous. They did the cutting on my balcony and cleaned up the saw dust before they left. I would definitely use them again.

Francis Movers was great. I had to reschedule my move date two weeks prior due to the renovation work on the condo not being completed on time and they were able to do it no problem. The movers showed up on time, were careful moving our furniture and finished the move quickly. They were courteous and friendly and I was very happy with the service they provided. They were also very affordable compared to some other moving companies. I would definitely use them again.
