Removal of hot tub

What type of company should I look to hire to remove an indoor hot tub? pool and spa people, or an electrician? I want to have everything removed including the electrical. Thanks.

HI Chris,

An electrical contractor can do the removal of the wiring from the panel, and put in knockout fillers and breaker fillers. After the wiring is removed from the panel, anyone should be able to remove the hot tub. If your lifting it out, then hot tub companies usually have the proper dollies and lifting equipment to get it out safely.

Thanks very much for the response. I have other electrical work to be done so will add this to the list and proceed from there to remove the tub.
