i know this is a old post, but i would like to bump it for this reason

The Homeowner is asking for a Handyman to do this project, here is where homeowner gets ripped off and contractors get a bad name.

you need a Renovation/ General contracting company with Insurance to take on this project with at least a 5 year warranty on workmanship and 1 year on materials supplied by the contractor.
