Refinishing oak stairs

Hi, we are moving into our new home soon, and we need our oak staircase (from the builder) restained to match the darker hardwood that was just installed. We are interested in having the pickets painted white, and possibly the risers as well. I need help finding someone to do this job! I am also wondering if it would be cheaper to just buy new white pickets and have them installed rather than sanding down and painting the existing ones?

Hi DMG,

Replacing the pickets with new ones can be cheaper in some cases. We find that it is still cheaper to paint already stained pickets to white then it is to purchase new ones. Please let us know what your deadline is and feel free to contact us by email or phone.
