Dear Sir or Madam

How can you vote Vega Line Moving Company as #1???

This is the worst company we have ever dealt with and we have lived all over the globe and used a number of moving companies; all good ones. We have never sustained loss, theft or damage. Not even rudeness.

Just recently, we have moved our belongings from Winnipeg to Burnaby. These were valuables which had been stored at Fort Knox Storage for almost a decade. This storage cost over $10,000 and if we had owned damaged garbage, we would not have kept paying this kind of money for all these years. From Fort Knox, my daughter had carefully moved them to her garage for me to sort through and arrange the final move.

We had great difficulty with one of the Burnaby drivers in service as well as attitude. “Many” of our possessions have gone missing. All antiques are either damaged or destroyed. Our belongings were mixed up with those belonging to other clients. The driver was asking us which things in the van were ours. They took an item from Winnipeg which was not ours but belonged to the family which was, temporarily, storing our possessions. All our things were “well” labeled.

Right now, we also have, in our possession what appears to be a part of somebody’s bed frame.

Judging by the mover’s behavior, service, etc. I fear the family will never see their property again. It was a brand new item just purchased from Rona. I fear I will never see the rest of our possessions again, either.

I am not sure, at this point, whether all our belongings will be returned to us and whether Vega Line will pay for all the destruction but if we do not receive satisfactory answers soon, we will contact the local media as well as the consumer program Market Place.

Our belongings have been carried sideways, upside down and light boxes have been squashed by heavy ones. Big labels and arrows were marked everywhere and displayed “fragile” in big letters. One package displayed a huge label filled with detailed info. This item arrived damaged, too.

I am a single mother living with disabilities and Mark Guzman was made aware of this prior to the move. I feel I have been discriminated against as a result.

Mark Guzman’s company has destroyed what I had worked hard for before I lost my health. Vega Line destroyed antique memories of recently deceased family members. They have caused me panic attacks, distress and a bout with depression which I have never suffered from before.

There are witnesses to this fiasco and although I had emailed Mark Guzman about this, I have not, yet, received a reply.
