Snow's Construction

False address and phone numbers do not work. $1500 deposit was given in Nov for materials and since then its been one excuse after another. They were removed from the recommended installer list of another company over a year ago. Dont believe the false advertising or promises. Cant comment on workmanship as no work was ever done.

It's a shame because the owner is a nice guy who means well but he doesn't deliver. Lots of nonsense... after paying the deposit he "lost" his phone and I had no contact for weeks thinking he'd made off with my money... finally after finding other ways to reach him he did show up and did most of the work, but never when he said he would. In the end he left the skylight not opening and closing properly. I tried to get him to fix only to find his new number has also been disconnected. I showed up at his home in Burlington only to find he's moved and the new owners are dealing with someone every week looking for Patrick because he owes them money. In the end I've now paid $460 for a different contractor to come fix his work. I followed up with Velux who originally recommended him and they are well aware of his antics now and have stopped recommending him.

I love my new skylights, they look amazing and Snows Construction was fantastic. Patrick installed my skylights without any troubles and was done very quickly and he cleaned up all the mess, he didn't leave anything behind for me. He's very friendly and courteous, and it was so awesome to see what a great job he did.It has rained quite a bit and there is no leaks and they've added a lot of natural light to my house. Their perfect!

I was a little hesitant at first with going with Pat and his crew when I read the reviews but went with my gut! They did not disappoint. Great work ethic, great attitude. very honest on letting me know what would work best for our space. I would definitely recommend and will surely be using their services in the near future. Our specialty VELUX skylight (installed by 'other') was leaking from everywhere and NO contractor wanted to touch it.
We called Snow's Construction for help on VELUX recommendation, and after sending him a few pictures, he already knew what was wrong with the install, SIGHT UNSEEN!
We instantly felt comfortable with him, based on the knowledge he shared with us over the phone that day.
Snow's Construction repaired / reinstalled our skylight just recently and we've seen no more issues.
These guys not only do install, but they fix other contractor messes to make them right! We can't thank Patrick enough for being patient with us when we were frustrated with the situation.
We would and WILL recommend Patrick in a heart beat... Great work you are a hero!!

I would not use Snows Construction to do any work regarding skylights due to them not showing up on time and not doing what they say.

Further to the successful installation of three skylights by Snow's Construction in 2018, we wished to change the type of blinds to room-darkening. I phoned Patrick in early April 2022 and he advised he could fit them "in the next week or so". The blinds were in stock and Patrick asked for payment up front to buy them at a cost of nearly $1500. As requested, payment was made by e-transfer on April 8, 2022. There were follow-up e-mails and phone calls to Patrick but as of May 8, 2022 there has been complete silence. It is now June 30, 2022. Absolutely no reason has been given for this complete lack of response. Any new buyers wishing to engage the services of Patrick should be extremely careful.

Never hire this person. After paying a $600 deposit, it was one excuse after another for never showing up to do the work. Scheduled times would come and go. The workers would simply not show up with no calls to reschedule. I still have not gotten my deposit back.

Save your money and do NOT hire this company. Very unprofessional!

Totally pleased with the two sun tunnels that Snows Construction installed. The sun tunnels have made such a difference to our 2nd floor hallway. Your guys were very professional and did a great job.
