Our basement was a place where we threw all of our unused junk. A complete mess, until Gino and his crew turned it into a beautiful, useable living space! We were so pleased with Stumpo Contracting and would highly recommend them. Besides being easy to talk to and very personable, Gino is honest, knowledgeable, on time, on budget, and went above and beyond his commitment to us. This was just supposed to be a basement reno, but then we asked Gino to switch an old, corroded galvanized pipe from an upstairs bathroom. He gladly did it, even though it was no easy task since it went all the way down to the basement and across the kitchen ceiling. Also notable, when we had a sewage backup during the reno (roots broke through our main drain pipe), we called Gino, on a Sunday, and he came over immediately and unclogged it. Gino goes above and beyond the call of duty. You will not be disappointed with Stumpo Contracting’s work, skill, fair rates, commitment to your project/vision, and respectfulness to your time, money, and space. They always left each day with everything cleaned up and out of your way, and always apologizing or giving fair warning if there would be a lot of dust that day, which understandably you will get during a renovation. We’re so happy with our new living space and glad that it was a pain free experience. Thank you Stumpo Contracting. You’re fantastic!

We needed to insulate and renovate our ground floor bathroom. After some research we came to the conclusion ,Stumpo contracting was the one with the most experience. Gino and his expert started on Monday at 8:00 AM, He was there on time every morning without fail, from here on.And ......both did an excellent job transforming an old, cold bathroom into a worm and modern room.He even helped us selecting the right tiles and color scheme. We are very happy with his job and we are willing to recommend his services and expertise to anyone. F.H.Mittmann

We contacted Gino for various projects that we were researching and he was very honest and straight forward. I felt that he actually cared about the project that we needed done. He was very understanding and was able to get the project done with very little inconvience to our household. He was clean and the guys that he has working for him are wonderful.. I would highly recommend Gino to anyone that requires work in their home. Thanks Gino, job well done.

Gino did an amazing job. He's honest, does great work, arrives when he says he will be there, always cleans up and is a great guy all around. We won't use anyone else...he's our guy and we would recommend him to anyone. During our renovations my father died and Gino was kind enough to halt renovations for a few days out of respect and also sent us flowers...he's simply wonderful.

Gino Stumpo made an excellent job of replacing my front walkway. The work was professionally completed with minimum inconvenience and a thorough clean-up. The cost was very reasonable and consistent with the estimate provided. Gino was pleasant to deal with and easy to contact. I recommend the company and will use them in the future without hesitation.

We got Gino to rip out our old dingy basement washroom and build us our dream bathroom. This was our first major reno and having seen too many bathroom reno disasters on HGTV, we were nervous about entrusting this project to just anyone. So we read some reviews on Homestarts and decided on Gino. The project involved moving a wall, ripping out the existing concrete floor, moving the toilet and installing new drains, installing new plumbing for the thermostatic shower, vanity faucets, installing underfloor heating, tiling the floor, shower and walls, and installing various light fixtires and other fixtures. We had very limited space available and Gino was very helpful with advice on how we were going to make this project work. Him and Leo were just exceptional in the detail that was required, they completed the project within the time frame, under budget and delivered the highest quality and workmanship. My bathroom is the envy of all my friends and neighbors and I'd like to share a few pictures with you. I would recommend Gino to anyone, and plan to call on him for a number of other projects in the future.

Gino was hired to renovate our tiny existing kitchen including demolition down to the studs, insulating, re-sizing an existing window, bricking up an existing, removal of an existing wall, drywalling, tiling, electrical work, etc.. During this time, he was communicative, on time and very tidy with his workspace. His recommendations for cabinetmakers, tile, lighting & sink supply stores truly helped make the renovation experience smooth and relatively painless. We would be happy to recommend his services to others looking at similar projects.

Stumpo Contracting did a fantastic job on the exterior of our home. They assisted with design decisions, were on time with project completion, kept to the quoted estimate, and kept the work area clean at the end of each work day. Gino’s professionalism, communication skills and honesty are exceptional and were greatly appreciated throughout the construction process. We loved his great ideas, reliability, and complete follow through (he came back to touch up a couple of times, no questions asked). The workmanship and restoration of our front porch and balcony far exceeded our expectations. We are extremely happy with the finished product and highly recommend Stumpo Contracting. Thanks Gino!

Locating a plumbing leak. Due to a leak in our master shower, which re-directed down to my main family room ceiling, we immediately had to contact someone who could assist us in the right direction. Through a friend, someone had mentioned Gino at Stumpo Contracting so I opted to call and he came that same day. He assessed the problem and gave us some options. He gave his opinion since he had to fix the plumbing, he recommended to put potlights throughout the main ceiling and in the kitchen area. Prior to doing the work, he mentioend it would be wise to remove all the stucco on the ceiling since he had to replace the existing drywall. Gino fixed the leak in the master washroom and we opted to put a budet to make it a 5 piece washroom. It was indeed a tremendous turnout both within our budget and for the design of the lighting. Anyone who is considering a good contractor, I would highly recommend Stumpo Contracting. Great job done! Grazie mille!

After my youngest went off to University I decided to renovate the big room my 2 sons shared and take it over for myself. As a single mom on a tight budget I was first going to only drywall over the old stuff. Gino told me what a bad idea that would be and he was right. I had him remove all the old drywall and ceiling. He reframed the walls, put in new insualtion in the walls and roof and then put on new drywall and a ceiling. He also installed 6 potlights and a ceiling fan/light. He taped and sanded all the drywall so it was ready for priming. He did an excellent job and cleaned up all the mess. His crew was friendly and professional and the job ended up only costing $5,000. This winter I noticed a huge difference in how much warmer this north facing room is.
