was in a couple of months ago to have my computer fixed. I was met by a rude person named Chris in the shop who wasnt even dressed well. I tried to explain my situation to this man, to be brushed off. Just when I had decided to vacate the premises, another man came from the back, introduced himself as the Technical support person..Jonathan Jonathan was nice and listened to my computer issues, he then gave me suggestions on what I could do next. Even tho I was upset with other guy, I chose to leave my computer there. It was Fixed within 2 days. I went in again Yesterday, I was there to speak with Jonathan ( The Tech Guy) about a big project I may have for him through Rocky Mountain Computers, only to learn that Jonathan was no-longer there. The Person - I think his name was Chris or Dan or something like that, again was rude to me. I asked where Jonathan was and he replied, doesnt work here anymore. Because of the lack of professionalizm and the rudeness I was met with on two occasions..I will no longer be using this company for my clients nor myself again.

I had a Dell Vostro Laptop that would not start up that had all my pictures and resumes on it. I brought it over to Rocky Mountain Computer Repair where Jonathan was able to take a look at it the same day. I was really impressed; Jon knew his stuff and was personable and honest. I wanted a new computer but couldn't afford the $900 for the water proof indestructible laptops they sold, so Jon looked online with me and suggested I go over to Wal-Mart and get this Acer they had there for $289.99. I brought it back and he transferred all the stuff of the Dead Dell and on to my new laptop. He even did some stuff to speed it up; he explained on the cheap laptops they put all these free trials and junk on it that slow them down. I was really pleased. When I buy my next laptop and have more cash I am coming back to Rocky Mountain. The $900 laptop was pretty insane, the $1300 even better and what I'm most interested in is that it is a 3 year warranty from the manufacturer + free support from Rocky Mountain too.

What could this company do to improve their services?
I wish they offered financing on the laptops; if they did I could have bought the expensive good quality one from them instead of having to go to Wal-Mart.
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
There are a lot of computer repair shops with low low prices, but what really counts is the service. You are trusting your pictures and documents and financial data to the strangers you leave your computer with. It is best to deal with a small shop where there are people you can trust.
