My custom cabinets were chipped and peeling shortly after being installed because the wrong paint and finish was applied to them without us knowing. They were also impossible to clean - grease and any splatters would not come off. Cream cleaner had to be used with a scrub brush further ruining them and only achieving a mediocre result. We had numerous cabinet experts in and we kept getting the same response—the fronts would all have to taken away, sanded down and start from the beginning again. Prices varied but all were very expensive. We just couldn’t afford the price and didn’t love the idea of having no cupboards for at least a month. A friend recommended we try Gleam Guard so we called Tracy and he came over to give us a demo oh his cabinet refinishing technique. We didn’t think it could actually be done but his price was amazing, his demo was promising and he claimed he could do it in a day. He did not disappoint. Not only did it take just one day (and my kitchen is large) but the transformation was way above our expectations. It’s been months now since they were done and I’m still so impressed how they look and overjoyed how easy they are to clean. I’d highly recommend Gleam Guard Cabinet Refinishing to anyone.

I had my cabinets refinished approximately four years ago and was very pleased with how fresh and new my kitchen looked. My dogs collar damaged one of the cabinets and Gleamguard came to my home and repaired the area for me today. Service is fantastic and the gentlemen doing the original work as well as the repair work were very pleasant and knowledgeable. I already recommend them to my friends looking for a way to clean up their kitchens and I will continue to do so. Thank you

I was skeptical due to some bad reviews seen online. The technician from GleamGuard came over and did a free test door that I was impressed with. I had a lot of grease buildup as my cupboards are 36 years old. The Zep heavy duty degreaser they used worked great. I have taken before and after pictures which are posted here. The technician promised they would not be perfect due to their age, but the cupboards actually look like new. The job was done the same day as the quote and so I received a large scheduling discount for having it done right away. I would highly recommend GleamGuard to anyone looking for an improvement in their kitchen cupboards. I recommend checking out their website for other before and after pictures. The technician will come to give a free test door and give a free quote.

Advertised as "dust free" restoration of wood, this company merely provided a patch-up/clean up job on our 23 year old cabinets. Six (worn around the handles doors) were in dire need of restoration, the rest of the cabinets were fine. The provider merely cleaned the cabinets (we witnessed Zep), patched up the worn areas and applied a seal after (we witnessed Minwax). The provider had to be called back to finish the job, as multiple areas were not completed. The job was not worth $2997 and I do not recomend this service to anyone. My husband and I felt a fair price for the 8 - 10 hours of work done and amount/type of product witnessed would have been about $800. The owner of Gleam Guard LLC here in BC, Gord, did not agree, so we are out the money. We feel absolutely ripped-off.
