    Ceiling vaulted, load baring wall beamed and removed,

    Taylor came to our rescue in the middle of a renovation that could have ended badly for us. There were many structural flaws that weren't revealed in the "home inspection " of our little fixer upper and his expertise positive, can do attitude got us through and made the process fun again. ALWAYS on time and on budget. We're hiring Taylor to do our Garage in August.

    Basement & Bathroom

    Great work! We have used Taylor on two different renovations and found his team both professional and reliable. We would use him again and highly recommend his services to our friends and family.

    Basement renovation

    We hired newelegance to renovate our basement. We had an old wood burning stove, carpet flooring and horrible looking tile around the fireplace. Taylor did an amazig job transforming our basement into a family room we use year round. We love the quality of the work and attention to detail. Taylor was always open to listen to our ideas and made great suggestions on how it could be done.

    kitchen and bathroom renovation

    I was finding it difficult to find a good tiler to do glass backsplash in my kitchen as a smallish job for a professional. Taylor came in and did the most meticulous and beautiful job. There was some tiling that was slightly off (problem with the tiles) which we did not notice- and he insisted on changing it within the allotted budget, and on time. We then hired Taylor to general manage a partial bathroom renovation which included tiling, some woodwork and coordinating with the plumber. Again the work was to perfection. A real professional I would highly recommend.

    Roof Repair

    We were caught in the Angus Tornado. Within the first couple days of the Tornado New Elegance Renovations were on sight assessing the damage of the roof, and providing me sound advice on the repairs that were required on the inside of our home as there was extensive water damage. They were onsite completing the major roof repair as soon as the ins authorized it. Their work was completed quickly and to a very high standard. Taylor and his crew were friendly and respectful of my property. Clean up was done with minimal disruption. I would highly recommend New Elegance Renovations.

    Kitchen, tiling, roofing etc.

    I've seen the folks at New Elegance Renovations tackle many different types of home improvement jobs. From kitchens to roofs and everything in between, Taylor and his crew are knowledgeable and professional. From my experience, past customers seem extremely satisfied with his work.

    House painting in a rush

    Was in a crunch to find a helper to freshen up my client's place with a coat of paint as they were moving out on Friday and the new tenants were moving in Saturday. Taylor responded to my ad, even though I would not expect him to do such odd last minute jobs, but he stepped up, was there early, neat, clean, professional & polite. He did a great job, no muss no fuss. I have already given his number to a couple of friends and will not hesitate promoting him to others I know.

    Handyman Repairs/Painting

    Taylor from New Elegance Renovations did some work on our house prior to listing it for sale - including replacing some window cranks, painting our master bedroom and bathroom and doing some drywall repairs and shower re-grouting. I was very impressed with his professionalism, his politeness and his eagerness to please. Job well done - we'll be using him again for other odd jobs in our new house!

    Various "fixes" around my house

    My daughter, who lives in Newmarket found and used Taylor and New Elegance for some jobs they needed done to get their house in shape for a real estate listing (They sold the house in short order so that is some measure of success right there!) . She was very happy with Taylor's work and so that prompted me to contact him about a number of jobs I had around the house that had been nagging me, but were a bit out of my comfort/experience zone. This ranged from some outside carpentry work to replace rotting frames/columns around my door, re-sanding my interlocking front porch all the way to some masonry repairs in the basement and the removal and replacement of some old carpeting that had gotten wet and was no doubt mouldy. Taylor came over very soon after first contact to examine the jobs and gave a prompt, fair and detailed estimate later that day. We agreed and he was here the very next day. I thought it would be a 2-day job at least but he did it all in one day. He was very courteous and polite, very respectful of my needs and did not try to oversell anything, in my view. When he was unsure about the solution for the masonry problem he went and asked a more experienced colleague for advice and I respect that a lot in anyone. In the end I was pleased with the work and his attitude and his service. I would definitely work with Taylor again as the need arises.

    household repairs

    I called Taylor to fix little things around the house. He called back right away and was able to do the repairs within a couple of days of my call. He was friendly and honest about what was important to fix. Thanks Taylor, be calling you again when I need you.
