I recently purchased new blinds from Riverview Window Fashions and couldn't believe how much fun it was to work with Linda! Not knowing what I wanted, Linda was helpful guiding me through the best choices for our home and budget. She stayed focused on our needs and was there for entire installation, everthing went well and her installer was very efficient, fast and a pleasure to meet. We splurged in our bedrooms and chose some very classy options for our main flooor needs. Our corner kitchen shutter from Riverview Window Fashions looks great! Our idea was to "bring the outside in" to brighten and update our open-concept "country looking" kitchen. As part of a partial kitchen update, we had already installed a new countertop and wanted a window treatment to be a design accent. It also needed to provide privacy but sunshine when required. The shutter in the corner window was the perfect solution. Consultation with Linda provided guidance on style and size of vanes and frame details to help bring the "look" to fruition. Final installation was thorough and precise by Rick. Their combined expertise made our shutter project a pleasant,"open and shut" case. We would absolutely recommend Riverview Window fashions for any window covering challenges you may have. We have a small window above a sideboard in our dining room alcove which faces the side of our neighbour’s house. The alcove is painted chocolate brown and the ceiling cornice is faux finished with chocolate tones, so I was at a loss for how to treat this window. Linda spent time with me, making suggestions and helping me to visualize how various window treatments would transform the room. With her guidance, I choose the new Hunter Douglas Silhouette in the Chateau fabric. The choice was stunning! Not only did the fabric blend beautifully with the brown tones in the room, but it provided the perfect solution - offering just the right amount of light and privacy without being too heavy. Rick and Linda’s attention to detail in the installation has produced a window that now receives frequent compliments. They turned an awkward window into a focal point. Well done and I can’t wait to tackle the next room (and the next ….)

Rick & Linda did a fabulous job on helping us pick out and install new Hunter Douglas blinds for our master bedroom. Looking over the various options, we decided to go for the more expensive blinds because we felt that the extra money was worth getting the "up/down" versions, so we can be naked and still get sunlight through! We also opted for energy efficient blinds - which helps keep in the hot air IN during the winter months and the hot air OUT in the summer months:) We also opted for "black-out" - which is a great feature when you want to sleep in... for just a bit longer! The installation was flawless and took very little time. If you are looking for easy-going, friendly, but professional service - Riverview Window Fashions would be my number one recommendation:) We love the blinds and are looking forward to installing more on the rest of the house.
