We recently had Aire One to our home for a furnace purchase/installation. We could not be happier with the service provided by this company. The salesman and the installation/service technicians were professional and courteouse. Everything was done exactly within the time table that had been set up and there was absolutely no clean up to do. We have a household with a few animals and some companies request the animals be put in a room or outside during sales and or installation. This was not the case with Aire One (which I appreciated) the technicians were awesome and very kind. We would recommend this company to anyone looking for professional service with a touch of personality.

I can not say enough good things about this company. Right from the sales person, who explained it all so well, to the men who installed everything. The day of the install, they were here right on time and from that minute on, it was a great experience. I would have them back to do another job for sure. Highly recommend them.

We bought new Carrier equipment from Aire One to replace our old (but working) unit in Nov 2010. The sales person who came to our house claimed that Carrie products are warranted for ten years. Aire one contracted to supply a unit but installed a totally different unit, they contracted to supply a Air purifier, but did not supply it The Installer left all the parts cluttered around but took the old A/C and furnace (in working order), we had planned to donate eh A/c And furnace to someone but the installer took it without authorization (and has still not returned it). The heating system broke down within a month, and needed to be repaired. We started A/C in May this year and found many problems with installation. The A/C did not work, the technician who came informed us that the system was not warranted, beyond the first year. We contacted Aire One who confirmed that we have no warranty on the system, and that we should have read the fine prints. Even though the sales person promised 10 years warranty and even though the product literature said 10 years warranty, Aire one claimed they have a clause in the sales contract whereby unless we pay a yearly maintenance contract fee the warranty is null and void. This seemed like FRAUDULENT business practice to us (promising one thing, showing us 10 years warranty statements on the product literature and then deliberately putting a contrary clause in the fine prints). The technician Charged the gas and the A/c worked. Couple of weeks later on a hot day the A/C broke down again, they charged some more gas into the system and it worked again, then on a really hot day (July 17th and 18), the A/C broke down again. The technician asked us to shut down the fan as well (probably to punish us for the call), on a hot day without A/C and fan the temperature inside the house soared to nearly 100 degrees. The system worked again after charging the gas, Aire one claims it was the filter. We are fed up with the untrained Aire One technicians and their fraudulent business practices. Hope we get some remedies from the legal system against a company like Aire One East.

Aire One installed an A/C, humidifier and programable thermostat in our home in 2005. Last week (5 years later) the unit broke down and I called Aire One for service. They said they could come the same day, but couldn't really gaurantee they'd be able to fix it that day (temperature outside was > 30 and i have a baby in the house...not acceptable in my opinion). I said thank you and called another company for service. They came same day and fixed the problem, however discovered a problem with the motor, plus indicated it hadn't been installed properly. We called Aire One to do this work under the manufacturers warranty, since they were the original installers, however they insisted it was no longer under warranty and wouldn't be able help us. We knew this was untrue, as my husband had already contacted the manufacturer who said it would be covered. The person on the phone continued to argue, despite this information and wouldn't take the time to call the manufacturer to verify. In the end, we have found another company that was able to check with the manufactuerer (it took all of 5 minutes to hear back from them) and they will do the work with us. They have indicated that our AC unit was not registered properly with the manufacturer. So it seems that not only was it not installed properly, it wasn't registered properly. And only 5 years later we are having major issues.

I was going over your file and reviewing the details, the air conditioner installed was passed the manufacturer warranty date. Being a dealer, we cannot extend the manufacturer warranty. The home owner would need authorization direct from the manufacturer to be able to to warranty the work needed to be performed. In regards to the registration of your air conditioner, the manufacturer provides a registration card that is to be filled out by the customer. We, the dealer, cannot fill this out as the manufacturer requires information directly from the customer for their records. We thank you again for your business. During the my energy audit, we replaced our old furnace and water air conditioner with new Lennox top of the line system from Aire One. The install went well and everything has been up and running great. They were able to handle all of the paper work for my energy audit as well, which was a plus. My only comment is that although my system runs great, I do get an error on my top of the line thermostat which Aire One has been unable to figure out or fix. They assure me that nothing is wrong. That may be the case, but when you spend for top of the line, having the thermostat say there is an error is a bit annoying.

Same story as Steve in Kitchener. I have phoned them 3 times and no one has gotten back to me!!!!!! They came out last year and said there was a leak somewhere and topped it up with freon and if the problem exists they will come and fix it.!!!! Ha not likely, as Steve from Kitchener said because of them not coming every year to maintain it I would have to pay for labour and parts EVEN THOUGH I HAVE A 5 year warranty. He told me, Ya i'm sorry it's in the fine print? Ya right!!! all stories. They take your money, install a dud and then hit the road and forget about you!! My AC is only 3 years old now!!! I am still waiting for the phone call and I will argue with them till I get somewhere!! But guess that's not going to happen! DO NOT GET AIR ONE A/C !!

In 2006 I bought a new furance and A/C from AireOne, was impressed with the sales man , got a few quotes and decided to stay with Aire One, install went well, had a communcation error, which was solved, took a little debating but was solved in a fair manner.. Well again just before my 5 year warranty was up 20 days before the warranty expired. my A/C does not start, well I pull the warranty card out and says 5 years silver plan 5 years parts and labour. Ok should be all covered ..I call Aire One to come and fix the problem, told not under warranty for i did not get the annual maintence done by Aire One, mind ya the annual maintence is done 2 times a year by my father in law's friend who works for a heating place too.. cheaper for him to come and make sure everything is good,, does not charge us,, usually give him a case of beer.. .. any way i find out no warranty from Aire One, because Aire One did not do the annual maintence... so 89 for Diagnostics, 200 for Capacitor and 99 for labour ... wow $440. If this was out of warranty i would have no problem dealing with the situation. upon talking to Aire One, to see if there was anthing they would do to help,, nope kept saying did not do annual maintence with them....wow .. i even said.. i would pay for parts and diagnostics, if Aire one would cover the labour.. nope .. well here to say sorry Aire one but you will never get another cent from this person and I will be telling everyone i know about this too ... hmmm if i buy a new car i can take to Mr Lube for daily maintence and yet the warranty is still covered.... thanks Steve in Kitchener

I had problems with my furnance on April 9,2011 and called Aire One. The problem related to the flame sensor on my Goodman Furnance. the techinician told me it is not that expensive. he went to the car to get the part. When he come back he told me it was $234. I tried to get the part with a lower price as it seemed exepensive to me. And I was told only for Goodman brand the part is this expensive. Because I had only 60 F in my house and knowing I will be charge $99 for diagnostic only I felt that I don't have choice and have it installed. After the technician left I went on line and checked on the internet the price for the part I had changed. The price ranged from 8$to50$.After that I called several business on same line of business and was told that the most they would have charged me would be $150. I paid $ 319.79 by cheque#135 for half of an hour work and one part that I understand it is not as expensive as I was charged. I belive I have been overcharged and not offered any other options. I totally disagree with this way of doing buiseness and I will never recommend or use theirAir One services in the future

With your furnace being a Goodman unit, the travel costs to pick up the part from the Goodman depot and to install may have been a little more, but you will see that it still costs less than other companies out in the industry. As we specialize in York and Carrier models, Goodman parts are not readily available. We thank you again for the chance to service you.
