The 2 gentlemen who worked on our furnace went above and beyond in teams of making sure that we absolutely benefited by the service provided. No comments! A very happy customer!!

I called Aire One for a whole-house humidifier installation and the sales person gave me the $500+HST price for an Aprilaire 600A humidifier. I've scheduled the appointment for the next day and they technician came by with a 600M model which is the manual version. I've asked him to stop and I called the head office which basically told me that the automatic model is $75 more expensive and the sales person who sold me the 600A is not in the office at the moment. I've asked the technician to leave and came back when they are willing to install the humidifier they sold me at the price that I was told. I've never heard back from them. Lousy experience, I would never call them again or recommend them for any other HVAC work.

Extremely unprofessional organization. One year after they installed my new furnace it broke. After making a call for repair they were very unprofessional during the call. They were rude and degrating to me on the phone. When I asked to speak with a manger, he call me names and hung up on me. Told me nothing is free in the world. I would never, ever use this company if it was the last one on earth....I would freeze first. Do not ever use this company, they are scam artist. How can a brand new furnace break after one year? Shop around there are many more companies out there.

Last week I had my 20 year old furnace break down on Friday night. I called Aire One in Newmarket. They explained the process to me and the fact that I had to wait for a couple of hours since it was after hours. A technician showed up in approximately an hour and a half and examined the furnace. He explained to us our options and the pros and cons of fixing the furnace vs. replacing it with a new one. We went with the second option and they had the new one installed the next day. The work on Saturday took longer than what we expected but the technicians who installed the furnace took their time to explain the different steps of the work to us and answer all our questions. I am very satisfied with their service and will recommend them to anyone who's searching.

I had a furnace installed through Aire One about a month ago. We sat through a few sales pitches from different companies and decided to go with these guys because our salesman (Darren) was knowledgeable and it seemed like a trustworthy outfit. The installation went well. Aside from some minor bickering, the installers worked hard to get the job done in one day. So why the low score? It turns out Darren wasn't quite telling us the truth when it came to the warranty. Apparently in order for the 10-year extended warranty to be valid, we needed to get Aire One to come and do a yearly maintenance on it. This costs upwards of $200 with a filter and taxes. During the sales pitch, he said he "recommends" (and not "requires") we get this done through Aire One once a year. Not once did he state the service was necessary to keep the warranty from being void. He also failed to show us the full warranty (where on the back it says this). We didn't sign this warranty and therefore it should be void right? Clearly we were mislead. Matthew, the owner, somewhat agreed, although he tried to talk me out of it. He promised to give us our first year's service free, plus a Carrier manufacturer extended 10-yr warranty (which didn't require Aire One's yearly service) at cost. After weeks of waiting on this to go through and constant messages, I finally got a hold of someone only to be transferred to an angry Matthew who refused to follow through on his promise of the first year service. Aire One is the only company out of the several we heard from and many more we researched that requires you to use them yearly in order for their warranty to remain valid. Not to say that I wont clean and maintain my furnace annually, however in doing my research and speaking to experts in the field, a new, high efficiency Carrier furnace filter needs to be changed yearly (which I can do on my own) and professionally cleaned every 2 or perhaps even 3 years. Long story somewhat short, I had to spend an extra few hundred to get a manufacturer warranty on an already over-inflated product that I could have gotten from one of the big box stores for a lot cheaper at the end of the day. Not to paint that brush on the independent guy, but I do regret going with Aire One.

We shopped everywhere for a decent priced air-conditioner for our semi-detached house. Friend of ours told us about Aire One and I went to their Mississauga location. Paul helped us get started, we got a good appointment during August and the installers came within a week to install. Initially they were going to just put it on Patio stones but I insisted that they use bracket to nicely install for proper care and the installer complied to our request. All in all we were very happy and they even sent us reminder to have it inspected every year now.

Jus recently we had our furnace break down. We called Aire One, and they had a technician, his name was Olsen come to our house within one hour time frame. Upon initial inspection there was nothing found and the furnace started to work again. Because we had a technician we decided to take advantage of the situation and asked to perform furnace cleaning. Good thing we did it, the technician was able to detect our breakdown problem that was a clogged drainage pipe. He took his time to toughly clean, vacuum and inspect. We were really impressed with the service quality and professional approach.

Live in cambridge, ont. , and since our furnace was getting 20 years old and had previous problems in winter time. figured time to upgrade. i sent out a couple of request for quotes on updating. Aire-One was the only one i heard back from. the service manager ( Cyrus ) made contact and set up an appointment to view my present furnace and give me a quote on a new furnace and a/c unit. and how much time would be to have it all installed i was told it would be an all day job. because some people in home work nights and set up time that would be mutual so as not to disturb the ones who work night shift was set up. we are also smokers which didnt bother him. guess it should have been noted as such. on mov 22nd the installer showed up by himself as i inquired why he was alone i was informed his partner was ill. but another crew would be coming later to give him a hand. he wasnt in the home 10 minutes and when i was informed he couldnt do the work due to being a smokers home and was allergic to it. but we had made arragements for another crew to come and do it. so now we had to wait for this other crew to come and do the installation . it was after 10.30 a.m. when they showed up. they proceeded with the work at hand and i will say these to guys were very polite and courteous and professional in doing there job. but now the one day installation was going to run into 2 days. after it was all done this crew cleaned up and showed answerd any questions i had i was very satisfied with there work. i called Cyrus the next day about i wasn't to happy about the way things got off to a start by the first person showing up by himself then having to leave and wait for the other crew. and now i had to take another day off work because of it. i informed him i felt i should be compensated for having to miss a second day off work. he told me he would look into it and i havent heard a word from him since. which to me just shows typically they dont give a hoot they got there money and sorry about your luck . there hasnt been any type of follow up call from anyone at Aire One. If i had my time back i would have definitely gone with my someone else. I would never recommend them to some one who is looking for upgrade.

It seems the only thing you're unhappy about is that one of our installation staff unfortunately has an allergy to cigarette smoke. Again, I thank you for your feedback as we work to improve our customer service by listening to our customers and have made the necessary administration changes to indicate smoking jobs from non-smoking jobs. Our intention was not for you, the customer to miss any work and I assure you if the second day off was not sufficient for your schedule, we would have been more than happy to accomodate your schedule and rebook the installation for a day that was more convenient for you however this concern was not raised with our installation department at the time of rebooking. According to the review, I don't believe the 2/10 rating reflects your opinion of Aire One KW's quality of job or service. After paying for the inspection service every year to keep my warranty in effect, Aire One refused to cover the Evaporator Coil that had sprung a leak. I took them to court and they still have not made good on the payment that the Judge ordered. Do not trust this company, they have no ethics and the manager, Mario Vaghei, is rude and incompetent.

You are right the Aire One does offer a 10 Years parts and labour warranty plan, which is valid for 10 years once the required annual maintenance is performed. Your furnace and air conditioner were installed in July 2001 and our records show that you did indeed have the maintenance performed annually. However as mentioned the warranty was a 10-year warranty and July 2011 completed the 10 years. Your evaporator coil was replaced in August 2011 therefore it would not have been covered under warranty.

Our water heater (we own it) stopped working last Saturday evening, and by Sunday we were hoping repairs could be made Monday or Tuesday at the latest. We called Aire One at 7:30 Monday morning and they were there by 9:00 am. Dust and dirt were the problem - they spent an hour cleaning and had it working again, and then told us what we needed to do to prevent it from happening again. They were fast, professional and reasonable.
