Justin and Corey did an excellent job. They were really friendly, took care of furniture and walls, they work really hard and did it at fast as possible. I loved the time they took to check first what they were going to do in order to know how to do it!

It was great that the arrival of the truck was able to be moved from 9 am to 10:30 am that same morning.The 2 men could tell it was a very stressful situation for myself and my sister trying to get our mother house packed with her there. They were very, very patient as we were still packing boxes. All the staff I had spoken to were very helpful and accommodating. Definitely I would use Highland Moving again and will recommend them also. Thank you for the extra care and help.

Everyone I dealt with was so calm, professional and helpful. It was a difficult move as we were not able to unload due to conditions at the move in location. Everyone from the move team and the office rallied together to come up with a solution, remove my stress and complete the move very efficiently and cost effectively. What could have been a disaster was very smooth. All the team were amazing to deal with - an absolute pleasure. Without a doubt I would recommend highly.

The people that came to my house were polite and professional and made it very easy for me. The people in the office were also very polite and professional and followed up any questions I had immediately. I would definitely recommend this company.

Peter Kachur started a one truck cartage company in 1938 called Jim’s Express and Transfer. Since that time the Kachur family has expanded the company to be one of the most respected moving companies in Canada and around the globe.

Today, Highland Moving & Starline Overseas are owned and operated by Don Kachur, the son of the company’s founder. Don is active in the day to day operations of the company as well as being deeply involved in industry affairs. He has served on the Board of Directors for both United Van Lines and the Canadian Association of Movers. Don's son Casey manages our Calgary branch and represents the third generation.
