We hired Shawn after interviewing other electricians. We bought a house and needed the system to be upgraded not to mention the knob and tub issues and hidden agendas in the house. I hired Shawn because he explained the difference between new constuct and retro fit and didn't try to sell me on extra work.The price was very fair and the work clean and tidy. The holes were few and ready to paint over. I was very happy with the hole project.

After purchasing my home, the service needed to be upgraded within the first 30 days to satisfy the insurance requirements. Shawn gave a fair quote and seemed to be knowledgeable so I engaged him to complete the upgrade. Prior to purchasing the house, he provided the necessary paperwork for my insurance company to accept that the work was planned and allow the mortgage to go through. Once I took possession of the house, he completed top quality work in a timely and competent fashion. I was impressed with the results of the service upgrade and engaged him to upgrade the balance of the wiring in the house. This work was completed within a tight schedule to accommodate floor refinishing and painting all prior to a fixed move-in date. Shawn met our schedule requirements and, again, completed top quality work. There was only one issue with the work completed. The work was completed in the summer while the furnace was not operating. The first day I attempted to power up the furnace, it became obvious that it had not been reconnected. I called Shawn that morning. He was deeply apologetic and returned the same day to reconnect the furnace. Shawn corrected the problem quickly and professionally. Shawn's work was good, pricing was fair, and he was extremely responsive to my needs. I would go back to Felstead Electric for all of my future electrical needs.

Felstead Electric (Shawn) recently upgraded the wiring in our newly purchased home and removed the old know and tube. Sean took tremendous care in the project and minimized the amount of holes needed to rewire. This was greatly appreciated as the plaster design could not be replicated. Furthermore, Sean completed the project on time and provided all the required documentation for us to gain improved insurance premiums. We felt Sean to operate with integrity, took pride in his work, and he would be the first electrican for us to call for future work.

We hired Sean Felstead after interviewing and meeting a number of master electricians. We found him to be extremely upfront and frank, which we appreciated. Throughout the work, he was always professional, finished work on time and within the budget he initially presented to us. We also had other electrical issues from a previous contractor who had done work without permits, and not to code. He was exceptional. He bent over backwards to help us out and worked as efficiently and reasonably as possible to bring our house to code. Overall, we would recommend Sean in a heartbeat. He's also quite funny, which is kind of nice- especially when dealing with stressful renos!
