When I looked at the final closing adjustmeents, I found out that there were mistakes. The builder side charged me HST on the price which the home i bought is for personal use, this is a huge amount. I have signed document that this is my primary home. when I asked them to talk to the builder lawyer, the builder lawyer so NO REFUND FOR HST TO ME. my law clerk just forward what the builder answer to me through e-mail. The law clerk had not opened the attachment from the builder lawyer. The builder lawyer had mess my file with the other unit that is why the builder charge me HST. I need to tell the law clerk about this and gave her prove of address since the occupancy date of the condomium. She then deal with the builder's lawyer. At last I did not have to pay for the HST of over $6000, but the builder lawyer charge me for $282.50 to amend the final closing document. This is not my fault !! Why i need to pay for this. I asked the law clerk to talk with the builder lawyer, but i have no answer from the law clerk. Also you never has a chance to see the lawyer, you only deal with the serveral law clerks. You have to urge the law clerk to do things for you to end up with a correct amount in the closing. The worst part was when my agent called the lawyer Stephen Shub, he said he will not follow up the $282.50 for me , i need to contact the sales office to claim it myself. Is that crazy, !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
