Researched various companies to install crown molding and picture framing in various rooms through out our house. Called Paul and he was able to come out and provide a quote within a few days. After meeting with him and discussing our options and then the price there was no need to continue looking for anyone else. We were originally scheduled for the middle of October but another job he had hit a scheduling problem so he was able to come out Sept. 19. In total he did crown molding in out kitchen, main floor hallway, master bedroom, picture framing in our dining room and a chair rail and picture framing in our soon to be kids room. The molding alone was around 185' and he was able to complete everything in one day. As a tradesmen myself it is sadly becoming rare to see those who truly care about their work and who are very skilled at what they do. Paul is the exception, should you need any trim work done around your house do not hesitate to give him a call.

In my 40 plus years of home ownership, there have been only a few companies that i would feel comfortable recommending to a friend - Crownig Touch is one of those companies. Paul gave us a fair price, showed up on time, did a high quality job and did not leave a mess.

The starting situation: Last year I had flooring installed in my tiny bungalow and the installers did a terrible job. They left the baseboards and trim unfinished and though I tried to do it myself in a pinch, it looked awful. I was tired of looking at the half-finished trim and decided to get the work done properly. I did a search on Homestars and made some calls. After speaking with a few carpenters, I found Paul at Crowning Touch Trim. Paul came by to evaluate the work to be done and gave me some great ideas about things to improve the look of the kitchen, front foyer and bathroom. As promised, Paul called to confirm the day before starting the work, and then arrived on time the next day. He worked over the next few days to add trim to my kitchen, foyer and bathroom, working around me and my curious pets. The end result: Paul did more than complete the work - he made me feel good again about coming home. He did a masterful job of replacing all the trim and did a few other little things, like adding the door hardware onto a pocket door in the bathroom. But the best thing he did was restore my enjoyment of my home - he made the interior look finished and clean again. His excellent work, attention to detail, and friendly demeanor are qualities that recommend him to anyone looking for finish carpentry. I look forward to working with Crowning Touch Trim again in the future.

Happy to make you feel good about your house, old reno-ed houses can be a challenge but with some imagination and patience there is always a practical solution and I think it added some nice detail. Paul

Paul was hired to finish the work started by another "carpenter". It was obvious within 2 minutes of meeting Paul, that I was now dealing with a pro. Paul brought great ideas, and corrected the flaws from the original work that had been started. The finished product is fantastic. The workmanship is solid, and the doors look like they have always been part of my home.

I contacted Paul after reading his reviews on Homestars. Paul quoted me a job for installing 8 interior doors. He was knowledgeable, meticulous and arrived when he said he would and completed the job in the time he had stated. Paul's work is excellent and he works as a true professional. I would not hesitate to contact Paul again for any work I may need done in the future.

I found Paul through Home Stars, reading his reviews and checking out his website I knew he was the right fit for the job. I contacted Paul way before the job needed to be completed as I was moving into a new home, and I didn't want him booked when I needed him. My husband and I met Paul at our previous address to discuss type of molding and wainscotting we wished. It was difficult for Paul to determine exactly, however he was so knowledgable and percise and helped us pick out the perfect fit for the home, and he was mindful of the budget all the way. We booked Paul to start the morning after my home closed on June 28/12. Unfortunately we were delayed in our closing, I called Paul, a little frantic, he was so understanding and assured me he could start the day after we close. He was fantantastic even with the delay. Paul showed up on time with his partner Richard bright and early on June 30/12. Paul and Richard worked fast, it was amazing to see the transformation before my eyes. My husband was not overly interested in the crown molding or wainscotting but once he saw it coming together he was truly amazed. Paul had pretty much predicted material and stayed on our budget. He completed crown molding in the living room, dinning room, family room, kitchen, powder room, laundry room, up the staircase the the complete upper hallway. He completed wainscotting in the Living/dining room, family room, up the stairs and the upper hall. It is absoutely stunning. He even put details we didn't expect in. He is a master at his craft and so personable. Paul and Richard were very friendly and easy to communicate with. I would recommend his company to any of my friends and family. This is no longer a house its a home. Paul deserved a hug, and he got one. Thank you again for the wonderful craftmanship you put into my home. I can't wait to complete the bedrooms upstairs. Thanks again Chris and Katherine Brooklin Ontario

Paul did a wonderful job installing crown molding in our 100 year old home. It looks as if it has always been there. He and his buddy Richard were on time, kept the worksite clean and paid great attention to detail. Crown molding was installed in 2 bedrooms and the hall on the 2nd floor as well as the main floor (open concept). Though they had to work with uneven plaster walls in many spots, the result is seamless... I also had Paul replace some baseboards on the main floor which was no easy task. I asked him to try to match the original baseboards that are still in most of the house. At 100 years old and almost 10" hard, an exact match was hard to find. I was impressed that Paul checked with several suppliers around the GTA and when he couldn't find what he was looking for he found a way to create a very close match. They look beautiful and once painted we will not be able to tell the difference... What really impressed me about working with Paul was his knowledge about old homes and carpentry and his williingness to go above and beyond to help make our home more beautiful. He even helped temporarily removed old baseboard at no charge so our electrician could access some wiring without damaging our plaster walls. I would highly recommend the personal touch and quality that Crowning Touch delivers and if our next house needs similar work I''ll be calling Paul.

I found Paul at this website when I search for a professional to do crown moulding and wainscoting for my new house. Paul called me back within an hour and met with me the same day. He did an amazing job, with all the moulding and wainscoting installed, my house looks like a model home! The moulding for entire house, you couldn't find any gap or nail holes, it was perfectly done. For the waiscoting, I gave a picture to Paul for the one that I like and he gave me professional opinion of how it can be done with lower cost. It came out exactly what I wanted with affordable price. I also asked Paul to custom built a bench in the foyer area, it's over my expectation! Since my house has hardwood floor all over, he covered it when he's doing the work, no messy left behind, no scratch on the floor. I received lots of compliments from my friends and they like it so much, it definitely add value to my house. I would highly recommend Paul to all my friends. Thanks again.
