I agree with other negative reviews posted. AABLEMEN Fence & Decks (Mike Salwonchuk is the owner) started and completed one day of work and never came back. Send email, text messages, and voicemail messages Mike did not respond nor did he ever complete job. Express my concerns about workmanship no response.

Hiring Aabelmen was, by far, the worst decision I made on my home. Here are some details: - The workmanship is shoddy; poor quality materials - Very late in getting the job started; Mike kept saying "we'll start this weekend", week-after-week. About 2 months had gone by before they started. - No official receipt provided. - Very difficult to reach Mike (the "contact" for Aabelmen). He hardly answered his phone and there is no other number to call. The worst part of my experience with AAbelmen: They drove construction vehicles over my side-yard to get to the backyard and there are now huge tracks along my side-yard and the grass is completely dead. When I approached Mike, he said not to worry - that they'd fix it after the work was done. That didn't happen. I called Mike about a dozen times to request a repair once they finished and left. In the few times he even answer my calls, he kept promising to repair and never delivered on his promise. It has been about a year and it has never been repaired. The police say that I would have to take the matter to small claims court to get it resolved (such a hassle). I wish I had not paid him until he made this repair. Since I paid him in full, he took off without any care for my concerns or sense of responsibility in repairing my lawn. Don't hire Aabelmen. Go with a professional and responsible contractor. You'll save yourself many headaches and regret.

Same as the other comments. Do not trust Mike at all. He will be polite in the beginning but then give you the run around after. The workmanship is terrible and cheaply made. He'll give a cheaper price than the other contractors but for what you get, it's definitely not worth it. Save your time and money.

my story is 100% the same as yours. Myself and two neghbours paid for the job and the gates are still not in after 8 weeks and the fence not complete.

We hired aablemen to do our neighbourhood fence. (Mike Salwonchuk is the owner). At the beginning he told us a timeline (1 week to finish the job). He was very nice and polite. He made a good speech on how he did the whole neighbourhood, and he was good and all the other good stuff. He promised us he would complete the work in 1 week with the gates and he would cut all the 6x6 post to even them out and cap them as well. As promised he finished the fence ( all the 3 sides) on time. He took another week to finish the gates, because he contracted the gates to another company. (At the end they both had a fued on shortage of money, they were blaming each other). His guy would knock on my door and tell me how Mike ripped him off. Its been over 5 weeks now, he still has not completed the gates, he has to put in cane bolts, and he needs to cut the 6x6, even them out and cap them. Conclusion, Dont trust this guy, He even took money from my neightbour ($1000) and did not even start the job, its been over 6 weeks now. If he knows your phone number, he will not answer. He normally picks up if he doesnt know your number. Dont waste your money on this company and dont fall for his sweet talks.
