A friend referred us to GVA Plumbing when a plumbing issue arose during a renovation. Mehmet was responsive, on time, on budget, and absolutely fantastic to work with. Since, over the last few years, we have called on Mehmet at least two other times when our older home needed some plumbing attended to. On one of those occasions, he advised against any work being done and didn't even charge for his time to visit us and assess the problem. Mehmet continues to always be amazing in all respects. Mehmet recently installed a Rinnai tankless water heater in my house. His proficiency in plumbing, gas fitting and venting all came together seamlessly. His eye for detail and experience led him to questioned the capacity of the existing gas supply, so he referred to a gas manual and did some calculations to confirm that there would not be sufficient gas to run all of the appliances at the same time. Mehmet arranged for Fortis Gas to install a higher capacity meter and regulator on the same day as the tankless installation to minimize interruption. In addition, he noticed that there was no pressure regulator on my water service, tested the pressure which turned out to be 50% higher than recommended, and installed a pressure regulator to protect my appliances and the new water heater. Mehmet also arranged for the City of Vancouver inspection, and all is good. Now thats full service!

Garage flooded at my elderly moms place ; Mehmet came that day and did a wonderful job. We then hired him for multiple other jobs, tap replacements, garburetor removal, dishwasher replacement and water tank replacement. We also refered him to friends who were delighted with his work. When our 31 year old John Wood gas fired water heater finally reached it's end of life Mehmet came to the rescue. We know it was not easy for him to move his schedule around, but he did. He showed up at 7:30 am and at 9:30 am we were back in hot water again. Our new tank works perfectly. It was good to work with someone who is personable and professional. We highly recommend GVA for all your plumbing needs.

We had our original 1980's boiler replaced and our Rinnai on demand hot water replaced with a new Rinnai combi unit. Mehmets works was exceptional. He was very friendly, communicative, knowledgeable and punctual. I would hire him again for future work, and have already recommended him to neighbours and friends.

Couldn't be happier! All Ploy-B piping replaced. No fuss, no bother and reasonable cost. Mehmet did the work in a professional and workmanlike manner.
