Very convenient, arrived in my home very quickly to give me a free estimate. Was very prepared and knew exactly what they were doing. Didn't take very long and they were very efficient.

About 8-9 weeks after having my windows installed, One unit developed a small crack that soon spread up the entire length of the window. I called to get it fixed under the warranty as I felt it was obviously a manufacturers defect or product workmanship issue. Windows in empty bedrooms should not break by themselves. They requested a picture which I sent, but they did not come out to look at the broken window. I was told that glass breakage is not covered by their warranty under ANY circumstances. I reasoned with Hometech through the Better Business Bureau and after two months they contacted me and stated that it was a bad misunderstanding. They paid for the full cost of replacement and apologized for the trouble they put me through. David (manager) said that Hometech does not treat customers that way and that it will be communicated to his staff that customer satisfaction is a must for their company.

I own a rental property in Red Deer and used Hometech to replace all of the windows in the home. Their service was professional, and their work was done well and very efficient. I have recommended them to my colleagues and will continue to do so.

Our installer has completed two jobs on separate occasions for us. Because he had such a professional attitude and work ethic, we asked for him to complete the work on the second project. On both occasions the work was efficiently and well done.

Hometech sales and installation personnel were most accommodating and offered a competitive price for a superior product. Our request to replace dated and innefficient sliding aluminum windows to double low-E side casements with a fixed central window in a bow design was readily quoted and professionally installed. We have since benefitted from year-round efficiencies, and comfort attributed to the double low-E feature. The interior sill and shelf has allowed our window plants to flourish throughout the year. We were so pleased with Hometech's product, price and performance that we invited and accepted quotes on replacement of our living room and bedroom windows that same year (2007). Again we were able to incorporate modifications to the original installations; and by purchasing a mix of fixed, casement and sliding vinyl inserts we saved on time, cost and structural aspects of each unit. It is such a treat not having to use a ladder to access and clean the second storey windows any longer. We have since recommended Hometech to friends and neighbours, several of whom have undertaken similar retrofits.

Had great service and good advice on how to install the windows. More expensive but well worth it for the quality of product. Windows are a cut above the rest. As a bonus we also bought siding through Hometech for our house at a reduced rate that made up for the extra cost of the windows. Great people to work with.

Budget means my window replacements must be done a few at a time, but my installs, and follow-up, prove to me Hometech is professional and conscientious no matter what size the job. They are also masters of the challenging installation, as mine was. I would not use anyone else for future renos.
