Rob was referred to us when we started scoping out the removal of a partial wall between our kitchen and living room. Rob came highly recommended and it was understandable why he was. His quote for the work was extremely reasonable and the work, from start to finish, was amazing and top notch quality. When we ran into an unexpected plumbing issue, Rob had contacts onhand who could assist and keep the work on track without delay. He also referred a flooring contact to finish off the area where the wall used to be. We will definitely work with Rob again for future projects around the house. Thanks Rob!

This was the second time we used Rob to do repairs at our office. we had to remove a section of wall for a plumbing repair, after the job was finished we contacted Rob. He had previously completed a ceiling repair for use at the beginning of the year, and we were very pleased with the results. we had a lot of holes and scars on the wall that were patched and the room looks perfect, no one can tell we had to open the wall. we want to thank Rob for coming in quickly and finishing the job quickly. It's sometimes very difficult to find a contractor to come in so quickly to do a small job in an office building.

Rob gave me the highest quote I found, but he was the only one who committed the days and the time when the job would be done, which was important for me. His team came always in time and it did a A+ job, very fast in practically 4 days everything was over.

For the past 20 years I've had a recurring problem with a 3 - 4 foot horizontal crack in the finished stairway wall leading to our rec room. I’ve tried repairing this crack in vain several times with various fillers, compounds and tape. My wife and I were extremely happy with Rob’s drywall work in our bathroom in 2011, so I asked him back to look at the stairway problem. He examined the basement construction, explained to me what he thought the problem might be, and then told me what he needed to do to prove his theory. I allowed him to remove a 3’ wide x 2’ high piece of the stairway wall where the crack existed, to reveal what was behind it. Just as Rob suspected, the drywall was installed such that the horizontal seam between 2 drywall sheets was installed directly over the joint of the 2” x 4” bottom plate of the main floor wall and the top of the 2” x 10” floor joist. Undue movement on the main floor adjacent to that wall (kitchen) or pressure against the basement wall could stress that seam, eventually resulting in a crack. He removed the drywall along the cracked seam and overlapped the area between the upper and lower walls with new drywall, thereby avoiding the seam-on-seam problem. While he was there, I also had Rob drywall a closet for me that I had recently framed in the basement. Thanks Rob, for another job very well done!

I am hoping that this patch does the trick for you and that the crack does not continue to be a problem, it shouldn't but if it does crack again than you may end up having to drywall the wall by standing the sheets up, in other words just take all the drywall off that one area and stand the sheet upright, instead of lying it down. hope the closet comes out okay. good luck with the doors, great job on all the framing. thanks so much again and keep in touch.

It was a dilemma to get a drywall contractor…from the ones that never returned my calls, to the ones that gave a quote/time to start and never showed up, I even had a contractor who gave me a list of the sheets/materials needed that I bought and I never heard from him again! We had some water damage from the large rain in July and had an internal sump pump system put in. I then needed to finish the room. I heard about Rob from a neighbour and decided to give him a call. He responded right away and provided a quote that was within my budget. I referenced him on Homestars and saw nothing but good things. I can say I 100% agree. The crew was amazing and did a fantastic job. There was one timing issue but he was forthcoming and made sure we were back on schedule. In the end, we were delayed 2 days but overall well ahead of my expectations on when the job could be done. We are so please with the results. When it comes to a basement, framing and drywalling is one of the quickest to do, the time delay will be in the taping. Junior as you all know by now, an amazing taper, can put 2 coats of taping compund onto a job, however, the humidity that comes off the plaster, makes the job that much more damp and causes the plaster to set slower. If you have a painted surface it does not allow the compound to breathe therefore takes even longer to dry. In saying that for any future projects just remember drytime is your delay. I found Rob on Homestars and called after reading his many positive reviews. He was quick to respond to my call, and also to drop by for an estimate. We "opened up" a large portion of our basement, so most of the work was on ceilings. I asked him to quote at several stages of the demo, and at each he was easy to reach and showed up within a few days. His work and team were REALLY great. They were nice guys, good at their jobs and they actually seemed to care about the quality of their work. I've dealt with both good and bad contractors and trades in the past, and Rob and his team are positively one of the best. I will definitely call him again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to any friends or family. My basement turned out great. On time and on budget. Thanks Rob and team!

Contacted Rob based on the reviews on this site, and I was not disappointed. I had an urgent need for a drywall crew - Rob responded to my email immediately and followed-up consistently and worked within my budget. The dry wall guys were professional and very efficient. Junior and his team $tole the show though with their ability to mud/tape/sand and create a seamless transition from the old part of the house to the new. Highly recommend getting these guys for your drywall needs.
