I would highly recommend Rob’s Reno for any drywall project. I really appreciated Rob’s flexibility to do the whole project or just the pieces we could not complete. His team did an amazing job of installing drywall and mudding my basement. I now have a high quality finish that is ready to paint. They are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about their trade. From the quote through to the final clean-up, the whole project went very smoothly. I would not hesitate to call Rob again for another project.

A rather damaging basement flood left us needing to redo the bottom half of the drywall in our basement as well as a couple of new studs. We contacted rob renos after reading the positive reviews on HomeStars and are happy to say that they lived up to their reputation. Rob responded quickly to our call and gave us a more reasonable quote compared to some of the others we received. He and his team were friendly, professional and completed the job on time. We had upgraded our heating system which meant running new ductwork throughout our house. As a result we were left with gaping holes in our ceilings, which wasn't a big deal since we hated our old ugly stucco ceilings anyway. The problem was finding the right person to remove our old ceilings and replace with new drywall. Not knowing where to turn, I turned to Homestars and fortunately found Rob. Rob is the consummate professional. He is easy to communicate with, reliable, conscientious, and takes pride in his work. Rob and his crew were outstanding. Very friendly and diligent. Our ceilings look fantastic and I have already promised Rob that I will have him back to tackle other projects around the house. I would definitely refer Rob to anyone looking to hire a contractor.

We own a near-100 year old house in Toronto that is full of plaster and lathe. Our upstairs hallway walls were cracked and just plain ugly and our master bedroom ceiling had visible water damage from years past. At the same time, we were tackling a bathroom reno, so decided to tackle the whole upstairs of our house in one swoop. We heard about Rob through a friend and he and his team were amazing. My husband is fairly handy, so he loved Rob's collaborative approach. He worked with us to solve any challenges and problems that we faced and made sure the job was done right. The best part is that he is extremely responsive and prompt in his response...hard to find in the contracting world! He was professional right from start to finish. Our walls are beautiful, our ceiling at 90 degree angles (exciting in an old house!) and the ceiling of our master bedroom is like new. We would definitely work with Rob and his team again.

After an exhaustive search for a qualified and professional contractor we finally found Rob and his skilled team by reviewing the great Homestars reviews his company received. We wanted a modern look for the main level of our home and were interested in removing the unsightly stucco ceiling, replacing it with a smooth surface and pot lights. I reached out to Rob and he replied immediately. He’s a great guy – very friendly and knowledgeable. After he conducted an onsite estimate, he offered to provide me with multiple quotes as I wasn’t sure if I wanted the ceiling scraped or completely replaced. It was a pleasant surprise when we received the quotes the very same evening. I decided to go with the replacement option and I’m glad I did. The ceiling is beyond level/smooth – like a sheet of glass and the pot lights (thanks Ian) look amazing as well. Throughout the project, Rob was always prompt to respond to my queries and provided courteous and informative responses. The project was completed on time and on budget. We are considering the same look for the upstairs and will certainly contact Rob and his team for assistance when we’re ready to proceed. I was looking for someone to do one of the less pleasant tasks of my do-it-yourself basement reno: taping and mudding. I was hoping to have the work done during March Break because during that week somebody would be home to let contractors into the house. I contacted Rob about one week before March Break, and in spite of the fact that Rob was very busy with other jobs, he came over to my house the same evening to give me a quotation. The price was reasonable, and I accepted. Luis worked for four days during March Break, and did a fantastic job taping and mudding my basement walls - very professional results. At the conclusion of the job Rob reminded me that if I discover any problems when I prime the walls, I shouldn't hesitate to contact him to get them fixed. I have just completed applying primer, and am happy to say that there were no issues. I would also like to add that in addition to being professional and diligent, Rob is a super nice guy.

We contacted Rob shortly before Christmas, after large patches of paint came off our living room walls while removing the trim. To our dismay the wall underneath was in terrible condition. Rob returned our call right away and was at our place for a consultation two days later. He was very forthcoming with advice and options, and we immediately felt like we could trust him completely. Amazingly he was able to schedule the work within a week and have it completed before Christmas. Junior, who completed the work, was a pleasure to have in our home and went above and beyond in his work. We were extremely happy with the results, and have already contacted Rob to do some more work for us.

We had a flood in our basement a few weeks ago. It was a stressful time for us, and we were looking for a contractor to redo our walls and ceilings in the basement. Rob was great. Rob took the time to give us an estimate the same night and took us through the process step-by step in terms of what was involved and timeline. What stood out with Rob compared to other contractors was his genuine personality - he really seemed to care. He definitely went above and beyond and I would definitely recommend Rob for the job!

Called Rob's Renos to quote on an already started drywall job that needed to be finished. My first contractor had to step away due to a family issue. Rob's quote was fair, not the cheapest but what stood out for me was his knowledge of what needed to be done to correct earlier drywall problems from my first contractor. His team always arrived on time and took great pride in their work. Rob or his guys kept me informed through out the job on issues/fixes during the installation. Job was done well and on schedule and with all clean up done. Many thanks boys..Looks great now Rob.

We had a positive experience with Robs Renos. Rob really cares about the quality of his work and customer satisfaction. He provided many updates and explained his work throughout the duration of the project. He checked-in regularly to ensure that we were satisfied with the work. He worked hard to get the job done in a timely manner and was respectful of our family needs. He managed to arrange his lunch breaks and other work while the children napped. THis meant a lot to us.
