The project scope included a brand new steel stringer staircase with a railing that extends across the length of my mezzanine. I got quotes from other contractors but it was clear upon meeting Asad for the first time that he was a true professional who puts great care into his craft. From day one he was detailed and clear in the way he communicated the project plan to me. He suggested modifications to the design to improve the layout and recommended a unique brushed steel finished to compliment the design and integrity of the space. Him and his partner Maryam were always polite and patient with me and he outlined the scope of the project in full detail. The end product was more beautiful than I could imagine, and constructed 100% to his drawing specifications so there were no surprises. Asad was able to provide a referral for another contractor to do some other work for me (built in wall unit as shown in photos) and has a good network of design professionals. The project came in on budget and on time. I highly recommend Architectural Iron Works. I am in love with my new stairs and railing and am happy to have hired Asad. I will definitely hire him again in the future.

I used Architectural Iron Works for my balcony railing and later for a spiral staircase. I have a third project in the development stage. Along with homestar comments and Asad's initial display of honesty I agreed to give an $800 deposit for the railing. No receipt, no contract. I was supposed to rely on his memory. He delivered a product that wasn't what I ordered, did not fit the porch, and was so poorly finished and welded that it degraded the facade. Asad agreed to a refund initially but his wife refused and engaged in a shouting match during which she called me 'crazy'. In the future I will be taking homestar comments with a grain of salt and I warn customers to be wary of this company.
