David helped get our tangled mess of wires turned into a neat, orderly and easy to use home theatre system. I would use him again in a heart beat and am so happy we hired him. He had wires there for purchase at a fair price if we needed (and we did need) and also gave us useful tips on how to better our sound quality etc. TOTALLY happy!!!

Where to begin; simply put David is an absolute professional. It was a privilege and a pleasure to have David come to our home to mount our TV as well as set up our home theatre system. For those who would like to read a quick review, I will simply say that you will find no one better on Homestars to assist with your audio and video installations. David takes the time to listen and understand what exactly it is you want and need, and then his skills take over from there, completing the job to perfection. You would be doing yourself a great favour by hiring him, and I would not hesitate to hire again or recommend to family and friends. For a more detailed review, please read on. I contacted David on a Wednesday hoping he could come asap to set everything up, as we were planning on having our housewarming party that weekend. Even with the short notice provided, David was able to squeeze us into his schedule at the last minute, making it to our place Thursday evening. Knowing this would not be a quick job, he showed up on time around 7:00 pm ready to work. We did not make this job easy, as the very first thing I needed help with was to hang a very heavy mirror back up onto the wall; this had nothing to do with the job itself, but I needed some assistance to get the mirror back up and he was more than happy to lend a hand. For the job itself, given that I live in a condo, and the wall is solid concrete, getting the mount up takes some effort. Additionally, it turns out that we are not allowed to drill past 5:00pm in our building, and given that we started the drilling at 8:00pm or so, it wasn't long before I received a noise complaint. With the request form the concierge to continue another day, I was able to get us another ten minutes to get the job done. I could see the urgency in David to get the drilling done as quick as possible and we were able to get the drilling done within the next ten minutes. During that ten minutes, David could have easily been done sooner by taking a shortcut and using smaller screws, however, he knew it would be best to use the larger heavier duty screw, and got the drilling done and got it done right. I know he got it done right because when the mount was hung up, he could literally hang off of it which makes me know for certain, that TV is not going anywhere. After the TV was mounted on the wall, we moved on to setting up the home theatre equipment. David was able to conceal and tidy up all the wires, and love the way the final set up looks. He took care to ensure that I was happy with the set up before moving on to the next job. Once the audio and video equipment was in place, we were breaching 1:00 am. It was a long and late night, but yet David plugged away, never losing his charm. Before the night was over, he offered to help calibrate the audio and glad he did, the system sounds great!!! He even followed up shortly after simply to check in and make sure everything was ok, as mentioned above, a true professional with a genuine focus on customer service. David was extremely professional, efficient, and cost-effective. I asked David to help with the set up and callibration of my home theatre system - he was able to get all features working, speakers callibrated, and wires hidden and out of sight in a very short period. Extremely happy with David's professionalism, and quality of work - GREAT value.

David installed an antenna and digital tuner at our house in the Riverdale area of Toronto. We now receive 15 channels -- all Canadian stations, as well as NBC, ABC, CBS, and PBS from Buffalo -- free. It will take 2 years to payback the installation cost, but worth it -- reception is usually superb -- we are particularly pleased with PBS reception. There were a number of problems to solve with the installation, including intermittent audio, which turned out to be a setting on the tuner. David didn't want to be paid for coming out again to clear up the issue, but we paid anyway -- he straightened out the wiring for our surround sound audio at the same time. Knowledgeable, hard working, attentive to safety issues with the antenna (needed grounding) made him a joy to work with. High recommended.

I was moving and needed help dismounting, transporting, and remounting my 55" LCD from my old place to my new place. I called David and we discussed the project over the phone. He gave me an honest assessment of the cost and effort required (a rarity). On the day of the move, David was prompt and did the work with care. We encountered some unforeseen circumstances when re-mounting the TV at our new house, and David walked us through the options thoroughly and clearly. David is conscientious worker and he did a stellar job. I can't recommend him more highly.

David took on our office project with enthusiasm providing purchase recommendations, logistics and installation services. We purchased several wall-mount flat screen TV's and a large 160" retractable projection screen. He installed all of them, as well as a sound system. We're very pleased and will continue to use David for any of our future A/V needs.

We called David to help us to install an older home entertainment centre in the basement of our new house. He was able to come quickly (on a Saturday morning) and did an excellent job.

My audio video system set up was a little more complicated since I have a sound bar amp and integrated amp for specific source playback in one room. David was able to set it all up exactly the way I wanted it and program my universal remote so all of my equipment could be controlled easily. I appreciated his attention to detail and his conscientious work ethic. He patiently gave me a tutorial on how everything was to be operated. I would recommend David to anyone looking for someone responsible, reliable and personable to set up their home theatre system. David is the consummate professional. He is very meticulous in his work. He mounted my 60" LED, sorted and labelled all the various cables and then undertook the task of getting my speakers to work as intended. He takes the time to explain what he is doing and what the result will be for that task. The previous owner of my home did a less than stellar job on installing wall speakers. David was able to sort it all out where I now have a much better sound system. I would highly recommend David and will definitely use his services again.

Recently moved into a house with a pre-wired sound system. I had my own home theatre set up and I needed help integrating the two. David was prompt in replying to my call and catered to my schedule, made the trip and was ready to work on day 1. He looked at what I had and saw my vision of my home and helped bridge the two. He gave me options and educated me on the pros and cons of each. He provided equipment and always had it on hand - not delaying work. His work was very clean and organized and the end product is one I'm very satisfied with. I've already reccomended him to friends and wanted to reccomend him to the internet as well!
