Cory and his team were always friendly, professional, and on time! We were very happy with their work and how clean they left the place at the end of the day. Also, we really appreciated Cory's patience with our many questions. Other contractors we have worked with showed annoyance but Cory had no problem walking us through every detail and was also patient when we changed some plans with potlights in the middle of the job. Would definitley recommend Vancity Electric!

Vancity (Cory) did an awesome job on a surprise install of some pot lights and outlet upgrades in my living room and entry way for my wife. Although it was a small job he came by to review the project and completed it on time as promised. He did a great Job!

Vancity Electric continues to wow me! They have become our house electricians when it comes to repairs, installs and additions. Cory and Geoff have put together a great crew that is ready and willing to tackle any job, big or small. The work itself is nothing short of perfection and the professionalism is second to none. In addition to work around the shop, Cory has also done work on my own home, installing a set of pot lights and LED bulbs in my kitchen, replacing an outdated fluorescent fixture. Vancity Electric is by far the best and most professional electrical company we've ever worked with. We're doing some rewiring and installing of new fixtures in our heritage home, and our concern of course is that we maintain the integrity of the original walls and structure. Corey himself has done the bulk of the work, and we can't be more pleased. Very helpful and knowledgeable. The quality is beyond reproach, and we can't really say enough good things about timeliness and effective communication throughout the whole process. Highly recommended.

Had the opportunity to have Van City Electric Co-Owner Cory Byron come to my house to do the electrical work for a new heat pump addition. He was prompt, professional, courteous and very informative as we went along in a crawl space which is never very fun. These guys were great right from the first phone call. I was renovating my small duplex and required new lighting and outlets throughout the entire house. They were fast, efficient, pleasant to deal with, and their costs were very reasonable. We had some laughs along the way, and they dealt with an unforeseen vermin issue above my ceiling with a professional attitude. It couldn't be fun to have nasty bits rain down on your head every time you make a hole in the ceiling for another pot light! These guys are really terrific. And yes, I'd recommend them to my mum.

I am currently renovating my kitchen and needed an electrician quickly to deal with some some issues between the old kitchen and the new one. I emailed Cory and he responded very quickly. A few emails later he booked me in for the earliest available opening. Then Cory gave me a call that morning and told me Jessica would be out soon. She called a little later to say she was on the way. Once she got here she dealt with the few issues I had. She was very nice and very competent, fixing everything I needed done and answering my questions along the way. A few days later I simply got an electronic invoice from Cory and paid online via Paypal. I can't believe how much better there methods is for booking and payment compared to the other companies I've been dealing with in my renovation. Cheques?? really? come on, it's 2012! Vancity Electric will be my first email for all of my future electrician needs and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs an electrician.
