Alan did a wonderful job with out home inspection. He went more in depth than we could have possibly imagined. Not only did he show us every last bit of detail about the home and its condition, but also showed us new home-buyers what the most important parts are to take care of to keep problems away in the future. What he found that we would not have ever been able to notice without him saved us far more in repairs that the previous owner had to take care of than had we gone with no one or someone less detailed that would have missed things in obscure areas. Thanks Alan! Eric

Alan is a knowledgeable person he knows very well his job. His openness and reactivity gave me the trust to rely on the company AllMax Home. I have also really appreciated his sound judgement on the real state of the property. This independent point of view was very needed as compare to the only point of view from the seller. I would recommend the company AllMax for anyone who needs a home inspection for their condo. I was very satified by the services provided by AllMax .

Saw the ratings from HomeStars and called to try out our new home inspection for the first time. It's been a great experience going through the process with Alan. He has been prompted, organized and very willing to follow up. He is very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable in what and how we have to settle with the builder. He also provided suggestions outside of the scope of the Tarion warranty on how to better maintain our home. It's well worth the price to understand our home better. Definitely recommend to others.

I try to create an educational experience and provide value to home owners even if it is beyond the normal inspection standards. Identifying defects of a new home for the builder to rectify are one thing, but teaching home owners how to react in emergencies, how to maintain the components of the house and giving seasonal tips are how we go the extra mile. Thanks Felix. AllMax Inspections

Alan was recommended by our real estate agent to do a pre-sale home inspection. We knew of one potentially major issue and wanted to see whether or not it really was or whether it was ok to go ahead with repairs. We also didn't want any surprises at the sale. Alan was punctual, thorough, informative and knowledgeable while doing our inspection. He took time to answer questions and listen to any concerns. He pointed out what he was looking for and what the status was as we went along. He advised what needed to be done as we went along. He also offered to recommend someone to fix the main concern that we had if we needed someone. I was very nervous when Alan first arrived at our house as I didn't know exactly what to expect, but was soon at ease and understood the process and results as we went along. We received a detailed report at the end. It's great as a reference and will be helpful during our sale. I would recommend Alan in a heartbeat! This was time and money well spent and Alan was terrific. Thank you Jesse for setting up the inspection. Thank you, Alan!

Great review Wendy. Thanks. The real estate market can sometimes be an emotional roller coaster and knowing how to articulate a concern in an effective manner with a calm demeanour is something we take pride in. The process does not need to be stressful and I am happy I was able to ease your nerves along the way. I wish you the best of luck in your sale. Regards, Alan AllMax

My wife and I recently purchased our second house and hired Alan from AllMax to conduct our home inspection. Not only was Alan able to accommodate our short notice, but he was very professional and knowledgeable and did not rush the inspection taking the time to talk to us. He was able to explain all major and minor issues with our house (including rough cost estimates and life expectancy) and provided a report the next morning which included photo’s and details of the work needed. I would recommend Alan or AllMax to anyone looking for a great home inspector who completes a very detailed inspection.

Sometimes with the very short time confines of real estate conditions finding good people can be difficult. With a couple inspectors on our team we are able to accommodate many different timelines and I was happy to do so. The pictures are very important as so many smaller details can be easily forgotten after the inspection is complete. Thanks so much. AllMax Inspections

I used him 3 months back for a new home. He's a nice guy and knows how to present himself as knowledgeable. He pushed for a postive review sooner on three occasions but we wanted to see how things pan out. He picked up one major thing which is why I'm not dissatisfied. He missed tonnes of stuff which did effect us. He was more conerned with finishing in 2hr and getting paid in cash.

This being my second home purchased, I decided to go on Homestars to find a new home inspector. My last inspection came referred and was a bad experience. I can honestly say that in comparison to my last home inspection, Allan was amazing. He provided us with a very detailed inspection. I found Alan to be very thorough, reassuring & knowledgable. I was impressed with his very detailed & informative pdf package / report which included photos of the home and recommendations for it. Following the inspection, I called him to ask him some questions not related to our inspection and he was happy to help & advise us. I definitely recommend Alan to anyone reading this review or looking around on Homestars. His price was reasonable and he dedicated a good amount of time on the property.

Thanks William. I was upset to hear about your previous inspection experience. Coming with the right tools and spending quality time on the property is a must for this job. We always leave the door open to our clients to contact us after the inspection. Whether by phone, text or email we are accommodating and get back to our clients right away. We fully understand that you may have forgotten to ask a question, something else came up or even another contractor may have had a varying opinion. Our job is to educate and consult, making sure everyone understands what they are purchasing, even if that happens to be long after we left the property. You found a gem of a property William. Best of luck to you and your family. Alan AllMax Inspections.

Alan was very knowledgeable and professional. He identified and explained all the major structural/safety issues with the house that we were never aware of. We decided not to proceed with the house and he definitely saved us from a lot of headaches. I would definitely recommend him.

Kirsty, I think you made the correct choice with that particular house. Simply too many things that needed major replacement or repair. Headaches would have been an understatement. I will be happy to help on the next one. Good luck in your search. Alan AllMax Home and Property

What to Expect:

Our home inspections take from 2 to 3 hours, our mold inspections can take 30m-60 min, depending on the size, age and changes to the original construction. It is important for us to gather as much information as possible and manage time accordingly. We concentrate on such things as serial numbers and model numbers of mechanical systems and electrical, natural gas, and water services; the important references for home owners. Accesses to the roof and attic space, which are hazardous areas, are also done by the inspector alone for safety reasons. It is preferable that these aspects are covered before we begin on the home introduction.

A detailed and comprehensive report will follow the inspection and will involve a complete tour of the home, inside and out. This will be useful as a reference in the future should you ever require renovations and will educate you on your home. At this time we will explain the systems to you, how they operate, how you will be influenced by them and how best to maintain them. Any deficiencies and/or defects are brought to light. Safety issues are covered and all your questions will be answered.

Finally, we offer a free phone consultation, regarding any issues or questions that you may have forgotten at the time or simply inquiring about afterwards. We make ourselves available to you.
