    Shawn was friendly and thorough, explained things in ways we could understand, and didn't soft-pedal about the problems he saw in the house. His advice helped us feel well-informed as we made the decision to purchase the property, despite the need for major renovations. He also responded quickly and thoroughly to some of our follow up questions. We would definitely call him again.

    We had a 24 hour window and Shawn managed to book us in and do the inspection. What was funny is that just by looking at the house (before entering) he had guessed some problems that were apparent when we got inside. That's what experience gets you!     PDI for a new constructed home

    Shawn provided me an excellent PDI service with reasonable price for my new constructed home on 15-Dec-2011. It relieved my earlier quality concerns and helped to identify many defects that I could not find by myself. With his finds and comprehensive inspection report, I feel confident to communicate with builder during the home warranty period. I was very impressed by Shawn's working ethics. In order to verify a construct defect identified during inspection, he spent additional time to research Build Codes and specified in the report. It is a 100% "P.Eng" attitude ! Thanks Shawn !

    Home Inspection Prior to purchase, older style home.

    I was extremely happy with Shawn, super thorough, easy to understand, very descriptive and knowledgable of what he was showing and telling us about the property. He brought up things I would never have thought could possibly be a future problem and explained exactly what we could do to fix them. His report that he sent me was so amazingly detailed and precise. I would definitely recommend Shawn to anyone in need of a home inspector.

    Called up Shawn and right away I was greeted in a respected and knowledgeable manner. After calling a few others I soon realized I had to go back to Shawn. He worked with my schedule and he got right to work on the exact time we scheduled. He was very detail oriented and the report he provided blew me away.     when asked to comment on Shawn & his Company Clarified Home Inspections, I di not hesitate. Very thorough and detailed. I used him on the sale and on the purchase of another home. I did what he recommended and followed his guidlines in the sale of my home and as a result I got a higher value, and on the purchase I was able to negotiate with the vendor resulting in him lowering his price a win win situation.
