When our house began to burst at the seams we looked at adding on an addition. He took what we were about and made a house resembling that. Once the drawings were prepared, we started the process of looking for a contractor. In custom work we expected a high standard of workmanship but in the case of Dwayne Butler the outcome was a distinctive home for us that is unique, gorgeous and totally ours. As anyone who has gone through a renovation knows it is a journey but Dwayne made it enjoyable and fun. When we purchased our home, the selling agent kept talking up the "finished basement". We knew it had to go just based on the layout (e.g., tiny shower in the laundry room, no windows, half bath crammed under the stairs). When we discovered mold and dangerous electrical work, we knew it had to go even sooner. We interviewed a few contractors who were recommended to us by friends.
