    Various house renovations

    We have hired Calitri for four separate projects over the past four years - a complete kitchen renovation, modifications to our closets, a full basement renovation including underpinning the foundation and a small exterior addition to the back of our house. We have been consistently satisfied with the quality of workmanship, the level of detail and service, and their team's commitment to completion of the work. Calitri has exceeded our expectations on all four of our projects, to the point that after our first renovation, we no longer asked other contractors to bid on the work. In purchasing renovations we originally thought it was going to be a trade off between quality and pricing. We have been pleasantly surprised that Calitri’s fair pricing comes with exceptional quality. For all of our projects we have worked with an interior designer in the preparation of detailed drawings. These drawings were used for project quotes and ultimately evolved into working drawings. Calitri's ability to follow through, make changes on the fly with the assistance of our designer, and to offer helpful solutions to problems is wonderful. Changes to designs and plans were always discussed in advance and any additional costs well explained. The style of our renovations are relatively contemporary / modern which required a detail-oriented contractor to integrate into an 80+ year old home. We have also used Calitri for millwork (a variety of custom built-ins) and again, the quality of their work is superior to most. The Calitri team has become a trusted contractor who has served us well in our ambitious plans to turn a 1920's house into a modern family home. We have no hesitation recommending Calitri for any project.

    Full home renovation + millwork

    Calitri has helped us through two phases of our home renovation. The first phase saw our home completely gutted -- new floors, new electrical, new plumbing, all new walls, moving load-bearing walls and building an entirely new kitchen (millwork included) and two new bathrooms. The Calitri team was incredible. The work is done to the highest standards, on time and on budget. A few great things about Calitri: - They are clean, clean, clean. Workspaces are kept tidy and safe - They have their own trades (they have their own electrician and plumber). This helps immensely with keeping things on time - They do their own millwork - this is huge because millwork is the thing most recponsible for project delays in my opinion. - They work really well with others (designers, engineering etc.) Second phase of our reno also went to Calitri - we lowered and underpinned our basement. Equally great experience. I can't recommend Calitri highly enough. If you've heard the horror stories, like we all have, it's just so nice to have a great experience with a contractor.

    We recently completed a major renovation of our 1950’s-style bungalow, undertaken by Calitri Brothers. The original layout was dramatically altered to an open concept plan for our kitchen, dining room and living room. The reno entailed a complete guttin

    Calitri and its team of hand-picked specialists did a superb job of every aspect of the project. Their workmanship and attention to detail was outstanding, as was their maintenance of a clean work-site, respect for us and our home, and genuine friendliness. Fab Calitri, who directed the project and co-ordinated the team, always kept us informed of the status of the project and any potential changes to the work plan. He also provided us with itemized progress reports. Fab appointed an on-site manager who ensured that all work was completed to Calitri’s high standards. Calitri delivered on time and on budget. We were so pleased with the team that we asked them to continue their fine work in our basement. This second reno project was also completed to the same high standard as the first project. We are thrilled with our renovations, and without hesitation highly recommend Calitri Brothers as “the perfect contractors”.
