I would like to express my gratitiude to Antonio Martins of Braga Contracting for a phenomenal job he did on my property. As a result of a flood in my basement, I learned that tree roots had made their way through the pipes. I hired Antionio and not only were Antonio and his employees extremely professional, but very efficient, hard working and they left my property in a very clean state. They worked hard and got the pipe replaced in no time. I was very impressed. So much so, that I hired Antonio to return and install a wheeping tile on my front property. Again, this was done efficiently and properly. It is with great pleasure I write this review for Antonio of Braga Contracting. Not only will I call Braga Contracting for any future jobs that I require to be done on my property, I would highly recommend him. After the work that they have done on my home, I trust Braga Contracting because the work and service provided is professional, they are dedicated in doing the job right, and committed to delivering a service of a high standard. Thank you, Antonio for a job well done on my property! I am extremely happy.

Tony and his team has done a very excellent job removing our load bearing and replacing it with a beam. I was amazed that they even manage to put a beam in the basement where there were vents and gas pipes. He and his team starts very early and is quick but careful in everything they do. They are very organized, each member has a task of its own. And after doing they work, they will clean up the place as if nothing ever happened. Tony is very professional and easy to deal with and is willing to explain things even the basic ones which noobs like me doesn't know. He state the coverage of his work very clearly before starting anything. His service charge is very reasonable, actually I think I got more than what I paid for :) He will definitely go back to fix any concerns you have on his work. And I can see, he is best on what he's doing. He's confident of his craftmanship. If only Tony could do more than structural, I would definitely hire him to do all the renovations in our house. I definitely highly recommending Tony and his team.

Tony and his team helped us through our difficult basement underpinning with grace and perseverance without ever leaving us in the dark or without options. Other reviews mention all the things he does right at every job, so I'll focus on some of the unique experiences we had with our 100 year old house. Our basement underpinning was likely Tony's hardest job to-date and he smartly handled removing our existing massive foundation, a house built on topsoil and fill, creating an even more massive foundation, and saving us from an inspector who was difficult to please. It was easy to change the contract when required and Tony was able to fix or improve all the small problems caused from previous old or shoddy work or just plain bad luck. What luck we had - at one point the drawings fell into the 6' deep soil test pit with water at the bottom and Tony (after removing his hat) dove into the pit head first to rescue them, shouting "grab my feet!" We did and he rescued the plans and we all had a good laugh. That wasn't the first or the last time he saved the day. Honest business of this calibre is a blessing when project schedules and budgets slip. Thanks Tony!

Tony is by far the best contractor I have ever worked with! His work is excellent. He always does what he says he will, has a great hard working crew and has a great wealth of experience. Tony is always on-site and working with the crew. The work is clean and professional. He does not take shortcuts and that is critical in underpinning and structural work. He clearly takes pride in the work. He is very busy so I would book him as early as possible. Thanks Tony for all your help!

I hired Braga Contracting to replace a crumbling concrete retaining wall at the back of the garden, separating the garden from a paved laneway. The wall was approximately forty feet long and three feet high. To replace the wall, they had to remove the old wall and the five foot wooden fence that sat right behind the concrete wall, excavate and re-pour the footings, rebuild the wall and then replace the fence. It was a pleasure to employ Braga Contracting. Everything went smoothly and professionally from the first meeting to obtain an estimate to the completion of the project. They arrived on time, Anthony everything in detail, listened to our concerns and creatively found solutions to address them. His crew cleaned up after each days work so as to avoid obstructing the laneway in the evening, managed to save all the trees and shrubs that abutted the fence and completed the job in two weeks as estimated. I was very impressed with their skill and workmanship.

Tony and his team did a beautiful job of widening our driveway, building retaining walls (stone) and adding on a small patio at the front of our house. They were professional, expedient and very friendly. We highly recommend them, and several neighbours have come to ask for their card since our house went from being boring to stunning! We will definitely hire Braga Contracting again.

We could not have been more pleased with Antonio Martins and his company. Provided original quote and revised quote (after we changed our plans). Got the job done on budget and within a much tighter time frame than I thought possible. Our house is 11 feet wide and we'd just finished landscaping our garden. Antonio ensured that no damage was done to our landscaping, kept the rest of our home clean, and did a fabulous clean up job after he was done. Wow, what a great experience. Really happy with the quality of the work done. And Antonio's a gentleman to boot.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. Polite and friendly crews, (not just to you, but your neighbours too). Fast, excellent work and fair prices. In any work, the true test is in the unexpected. Extras in our project, both at our own request and due to the unexpected, were always dealt with promptly and priced fairly. All time and budget estimates were completely accurate. If you require basement, concrete and/or structural work on an older home, you want Tony and his crew on your side.

Tony and his crew did a perfect job bench footing my field stone foundation to lower my basement floor. Not only did he do what he said he would do at the time he said he would do it and for the price, his work taught me how well concrete can be formed. The 50 by 12 foot bench and floor were perfectly level and straight with not even a hint of an air bubble. He was also the only contractor out of 6 that looked at my basement leaking problem to correctly identify that it was caused by the ground water pushing up from beneath and now it is fixed. Tony runs his company perfectly. He quotes and he does the work and he makes sure that his crew works up to his very high standards. If you have any concrete/foundation work you need to do it is worth waiting to have it done by Tony. He is busy for a reason... He is the best.
