Found Tony on Homestars and gave him a call to quote me on some basement work, and I'm glad I did. He was extremely knowledgeable and thorough in explaining the various options to us, and as an added bonus, his quote was very competitive. We hired him for the job and needless to say, I was extremely satisfied with the work. In fact, he went beyond what we agreed upon because he wanted the job to be done properly...and the best part, he still came in on budget!! Inspector signed off on the work with no issues. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to do any foundation / concrete work for their home. In fact, already called him back to quote me on another job. Tony is A+ in my books.

We hired Braga Contracting to do the underpinning, remove a load bearing wall, and install 3 beams in our basement. It is not hard to see why Braga has a perfect rating on homestars. I can honestly say that I have never had such a great experience with a contractor (and I have done business with many). Tony is very honest, personable and experienced. He is also extremely customer oriented. Not only was the work done to a very high level of quality, but it was very reasonably priced, and performed without any delays. Tony plans his work (even pointing out potential problems that clearly were not in his scope of work) and works with his crew onsite. It is obvious that he clearly enjoys his work. His crew is friendly, hard working, and always cleaned up after themselves when they were done at the end of the day. I would strongly recommend Braga to anyone that requires this type of service.

Was a few years back now but Tony is a great contractor and we were very pleased with his work. His workers are mostly portuguese and they were very skilled workers was great to see. I would recommend this company to anyone. My house is still holding strong in great shape no leaks or water and we are very very satisfied!

Tony Martins from Braga Contracting and his crew were Exceptional! It is refreshing to find a contractor who takes pride in providing top quality customer service and a great product that is on time and on budget. The project included excavation and removal of an existing basement slab, lowering of the floor, preparation and pouring of a new concrete floor. They also removed a portion of a load bearing brick wall and installed a new recessed beam. Despite being exceptionally busy Tony always had time to address our concerns and put us at ease. Tony and his crew replaced 2 huge concrete block structural walls in our basement with steel beams. It's awesome! On time, very punctual and on budget. Tony also helped me find architects and engineers for the permits. The building inspector commented on the great work they did. We enjoyed working with Tony and would hire the guys again.

Tony and his crew did an excellent job on our project, and they have excellent attention to detail. Before the project started, my wife and I both felt very comforatable that Braga was the right company for our job, and now that the project is complete, we are very happy that we chose Tony. We hired Braga Contracting through The Reno Coach (see review) to lower and underpin our basement. Tony and his crew were all very friendly, worked clean, worked hard and Tony was very conscious of doing things by the book, so there were no short-cuts and inspections happened along the way as planned. We couldn't be happier with the finished product. Not only does the basement look great, but it's actually deeper than Tony's original estimate, clearing over an extra 2 feet. As well, I thought it was pretty impressive that the few trades and miscellaneous pros who have been through the basement have all commented on the quality of work and those who had worked with Tony previously had the best biggest compliments to pay. So, if you want a basement job done right, done fast and at the right price, Tony and his crew are the obvious choice.
