December 9, 2011 I am a recently retired public services manager, with 32 years experience in awarding construction contracts. When my wife and I recently decided that the vinyl siding and aluminum eavestrouph on our house should be replaced, I contacted one of my former associates - who recommended Lormac as the number 1 siding and windows contractor in the London – St. Thomas region. After contacting Lormac for an inspection and price estimate, we soon found out that Lormac was a company we could trust to do the right job at the right price. What made this part of our story more unusual for me, is that I never felt it necessary to obtain any further estimates after speaking with the Lormac representative. We did not doubt the quality or price of the job estimate, and signed the contract. We found the Lormac installers to be polite, thoughtful, patient and careful in all aspects of their work. Top quality materials were used on the job. Installation was delayed due to the heavy rains of the 2011 autumn, and this made completion of the contract all the more difficult for Lormac. We had discussed these renovations with various companies. We had a minor repair completed by Lormac in the past. Having spoken with the more known window companies we were not impressed with the presentations or costs. We decided to contact Lormac as we were pleased with the prior work they completed. The presentation was clear and informative. We were also pleased with the cost of renovations. The windows were ordered immediately and they were installed three weeks following the initial agreement. There were a few touch ups that were required but over all we are pleased with the results. The installers were professional and neat. We would recommend Lormac Renovations for window and door replacements.

The Lormac salesman, Dave, answered all my questions patiently. I deceided to order the large window first and see how pleased I would be. It is now installed and looks GREAT. The staff was friendly and polite from the original phone call to the final installation. My home was always kept neat and tidy both outside and inside of the home while the job was being completed. They crew came on time the day they were scheduled to come which made it easy to plan our days around. What a difference new windows make!! Our home was built in 1962 and in need of updating. Lormac came to the rescue and now our home looks beautiful. The quality in the workmanship and attention to the details shows in every nook and cranny. The new windows, doors, siding and recapping of previous work, has added greatly to the curb appeal and value of our home. Our home is now unbelievably quite and warmer too. The service we have received from Lormac has been fantastic. This is the second time we have used them and I would recommend them highly. If you are looking to upgrade your eavestrough from a 4" to a 6" this is the company for you. They are the only ones in London that can produce a 6" eavestrough.

I am not a handyman, but I am a good judge of character.
