We noticed a leak in our basement one night and called AquaMaster that evening for assistance. Fedor and his crew came promptly that morning to assess the situation and after we made our choice, they started digging and waterproofing the foundation, all in the middle of winter. They were done within 4 days, and replaced all the soil, patio stones and plants, to their original condition, once they were done. Highly recommended.

After discovering a leak in our basement (bungalow built in 1960 with block basement walls), we called 6 top rated companies from the HomeStars site for an estimate. One of them did not show up for the scheduled appointment (and never called back), one gave us their price on a business card and one company pushed for an interior solution. Our short list included 3 companies that were on time for the initial estimate appointment, took their time for an inspection & solution/options presentation, and prepared detailed estimates in writing. All 3 companies provided estimates 20-30 minutes after the inspection and their prices were within a few hundred dollars. Fedor from Aquamaster Drain, Plumbing & Waterproofing was our final choice and it was a good one. The scope included original concrete sidewalk removal, exterior waterproofing and a new concrete sidewalk. His team initially started the work on a 30 ft length, but we had to extend the work along the whole wall of 53 ft due to numerous cracks discovered. Each day there were 2 and sometimes 3 workers (limited work space). They had to use our neighbor’s driveway, but they kept it safe and cleaned it thoroughly after the work was completed. The total project took approximately 7 days (with 2 days down for rain). I liked that they did not rush just to finish the job quickly, but took the time for all the phases to be done properly. They were always on time, professional and courteous. Overall, we had a great experience with this company! I highly recommend Fedor and Aquamaster for any waterproofing work.

We had a leaking water pipe behind some duct work in the basement. I had been told by one plumber that the ducts would have to be removed and replaced with new ducts. Another told me it might be simpler to go through my kitchen cabinets and replace the pipe that way. Either way, it was going to be a major expense. Good job. First of all, I was hesitant on who to choose. There’s a ton of fly by night operations there, and having some bad experience with roofing, I was doing my due diligence. One of the first things I did is check the license with the city and then talk to several references. Seems like a little, but boy it makes a difference. Half of the contractors will go off your list once you do that. The price at Aquamaster was slightly higher than another company I was seriously considering, however they were offering more for it. Basement waterproofing isn’t something you want to save on, since if it leaks you’re up for more high bills and headaches. I wanted to get this over with, so I went with them. Was a right choice, recommend the company.
