We moved in Jan 29 and hired 2 men and a truck recommended by movers. It started at 9 am and ended at 9:30 pm. the distance between two places is about 40 min. drive. The helper is new and not very helpful. The head mover was exhausted by 5pm. Our dresser was cracked and floor lightly scratched. the compensation was 60 dollars because we didn't pay extra insurance. the condo is on ground floor with our own entrance and new house has wide open stair to 2nd floor. We have parking space right at front for both places. It shouldn't be a difficult move. inefficient and unprofessional. We even packed our cars and made two trips by ourselves.

I used Priority 1 service to move into my new house. I had alot of things from my old place that needed to be shipped over. These guys are experts and did a great job in packing all my stuff and having it arrive quickly at my new place as well. I would highly recommend their services for sure to anyone needing moving! And very good pricing as well!

I cannot say enough about our experience with Priority 1 Moving...it started with an emergency call to them late on a Sunday afternoon when my son's plans for help to move to a new condo fell through and we needed help - I was in full panic mode! I called them on Sunday, Oct. 28 for a move on Tuesday, Oct. 31st. I had called 6 other movers and not one called me back. The actual move was excellent - the two guys were so nice, lots of fun and very efficient. They were very professional and obviously knew their stuff. They treated my son's second hand furniture as it it were brand new. The weather did not cooperate for us at all...it rained like crazy on Halloween night but the guys went all out to protect the furniture from the rain. I couldn't be happier with the move. I highly recommend Priority 1. Every one of them was friendly, courteous and professional. Thank you again for saving us...I don't know what we would have done without you. A VERY relieved mother.... We used Priority 1 in July of this year. We had a somewhat complicated move with some of our stuff being moved from our house into the garage and the rest of it being moved into a much smaller property than we were moving from. We sold our house and needed to rent the place our buyers moved out of until the next place we bought is ready so we also needed to be out of our house by mid-day so the buyers could move in that day. The estimate provided by Mike was accurate and he came by and dropped 40 bins off about a week and a half before the move day. Tony and Matt came to pack up our kitchen the day before and did a great job. Everything was packed well but the items were not over wrapped. I have used packers before that did excessive wrapping of items which made unpacking a tedious nightmare. Nothing got broken. The bins were an unbelievable time saver too and we were able to live out of them for a few days while we packed up and unpacked. Tony and Matt came the next day to do the move. Again, they were professional, courteous and always had a positive and upbeat attitude to go with their experienced skill in moving items large and small. They also had boxes and other supplies at hand for the last minute packing up of things. In summary, I would definitely recommend Priority 1 to my friends and family and as further endorsement, plan to schedule them again when we move in a few months time. Thanks, Tony, Matt, and Mike. This was the first time that I ever have used a moving company, and I had the best possible experience with Priority One. While I was booking my move, Mike was so friendly and helpful. He responded to all my questions in a timely fashion and provided me with a very accurate estimate. The movers that I had, Matt and Tony, were both very friendly and professional. Originally I told Mike that I had to make three stops, and I ended up having to add another stop on the moving day. Adding the extra stop was not a problem, and Matt and Tony still got the move done in the time frame I was given. They never complained about anything (even with 30+ degree temperatures!), and made me feel totally at ease the whole day. They somehow managed to fit two large, heavy lazyboy recliners into my one bedroom apartment, and were very carefull with all of my things. They wrapped everything up before putting it in their moving truck and they strapped everything down. There were no surprise costs at the end of the day. I would not hesitate to recommend Priority One to anyone. They were amazing, and I am very thankful for all their help.

We recently used Priority 1 to move our family of four into our new home. With two small children and a home office, we had lots of stuff and and needed some help packing as well. The whole team was fantastic. They arrived right on time and packed us up incredibly quickly. We've moved within Vancouver several times, and this was by far the best move we've had (which is surprising since we had twice the amount of stuff!) A huge thank you to Priority 1 for making what could have been a very stressful day as smooth as it could be. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

In a business with so many people who don't seem to care - these guys - especially Tony and Matt, were absolutely wonderful! Timely and super dedicated to their job ... they made our move carefree and easy and something we were treading, became a very smooth project. They knew what they were doing, had a gameplan and worked fast and efficient. The cost was super reasonable / competitive and I wish everyone out there had their pride in what they are doing ... Thanks guys and I hope I don't have to move too often in my life, but if I have to ... I will call Priority One ...

It's taken me 2 months to get around to singing the praises of Priority 1, but better late than never! This was our first time ever using a moving company. We were only moving 3 blocks, but with a 2-year-old and a 3-month-old, we had a lot of STUFF. Hence, we just needed to get things done as efficiently as possible. (Enlisting friends just wasn't going to cut it this time!) Out of the handful of companies I emailed for quotes off of Homestars, Mike made me feel like I was an important client at first contact. Before giving a quote, he asked a lot of appropriate questions re: the size of our move, whereas most other companies provided a quote simply based on a standard "2 bedroom move". Our two movers, Matt & Tony, were easy-going, yet very respectful and professional. They delivered the boxes we rented a week before the big move, and reaffirmed Mike's quote. On moving day, they arrived promptly in the morning and set right to work in padding and wrapping up our furniture. We were quite impressed by their efficiency, particularly in maneuvering via the elevator from our 5th-floor condo. The entire process took exactly as long we'd been quoted (7-8 hours) and there were truly no surprises, other than just how wonderfully efficient they were! When it comes to moving homes, trusting strangers with your precious belongings is a big deal. From our experience, we would definitely recommend the services of Priority 1.

These guys, Matt and Ryan, were brilliant, our baby arrived early and I couldn't be there on the moving day but they took over and did a fantastic job on the move. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I've never written a review on a website before but I feel it necessary to do so after my move last weekend with Priority One Moving. Before the move I did some homework. I contacted a number of companies that gave me varied quotes from hourly to flat rates. None of the companies gave me a good feeling. My girlfriend ended up emailing me a link to Priority One Moving after she came across it online. I gave them a call and spoke with Mike. At the time he seemed way too good to be true. He was well spoken and very professional. I confirmed the move, fully expecting Mike to be the typical sales guy and I would end up getting a couple duds when it came to the actual move. I couldn't have been more wrong. Tony and Matt pulled up to my place Friday am (right on time might I add) and immediately introduced themselves with a handshake. They were young, clean cut and extremely courteous. As I watched them pack I was pleased to see that they had the perfect combination of speed and care as they worked. The weather was horrible - rain, snow, hail, you name it. They laid out floor protectors and really made an effort to not track in the mud at both locations. Thanks to the tight quarters at the new location, and the fact that we had to go back to North Vancouver to grab a second couch after the first one didn’t fit (which Tony and Matt tried to make fit for an hour as my girlfriend watched in tears because it was her favorite piece of furniture) the move ended up taking 10 hours, which was double what I was expecting, but again was in no way due to the hard day's work put in by both Matt and Tony. Being a Friday night, and the move taking double the time, you’d think you’d hear at least one complaint from the movers, but not only did they not complain, they never stopped working and had smiles the entire time. This day and age it’s so hard to find quality service, but Mike, Tony and Matt really came to the plate and went over and above the call of duty. To sum it up it I couldn't have picked a better company when it came to the move. I would not hesitate to recommend Mike, Matt and Tony from Priority One to anyone looking to move. The best part was Priority One was the most reasonably priced company out of all of the companies I looked at. Who would have guessed....
